Endemic Life Studies: Giant Vigorwasp

A/N: Wanted to try something different for a bit, hope you enjoy.

It's a relatively normal day in Astera as Y/n is chowing down on some nice food at the canteen. After finishing his meal, he heads down to get his equipment prepped for the day.

???: "Y/N! Hey, wait up!"

A voice yells out, and Y/N turns to see Kei and Jackie barreling down the path. Kei then trips and falls face first into the ground and comically slides until she stops just at his feet. Jackie laughs at this and then hops over her.

Y/N: ".......You okay?"

Kei: *Muffled voice* "Never better"

Kei peels herself off the ground and then looks at Y/N with a smile. Jackie shakes her head before she turns and looks up at him. Kei springs back to her feet and looks all excited and giddy.

Kei: "You gotta come check out this thing that Sean found!"

Jackie: "Yeah, it's really cool looking, and right up your alley."

Kei then grabs Y/N by the arm and starts dragging him along while Jackie sprints off ahead. The trio soon arrives at Sean's room, and Jackie knocks on the door. A bit of shuffling is heard before Sean speaks through the door.

Sean: "What's your codename?"

Jackie sighs and rolls her eyes.

Jackie: "Seriously, boss? It's Jackie, and I brought Y/N and Kei. Just let us in so we can show him the thing."

Sean: "Mmmmm.... the only way I know it's you is with your codename."

Jackie grumbles and pouts a bit.

Y/N: "What is your codename, Jackie?"

Jackie shakes her head and looks at him.

Jackie: "He's talking about Guild Card Titles. He does this all the time, and normally, I would answer, but it's embarrassing with people here..."

Sean: "Codenames, please."

Kei then giggles and nods.

Kei: "Sexy Looking Pukei-Pukei"

Y/N: "Mine is (Insert Guild Card Title combination)

Sean: "Okay, those check out... now you little kitty.

Jackie sighs and then kicks a pebble as she gets embarrassed and rubs her arm.

Jackie: "Ughhhh.... Squishy Around Tail..."

Some snickering is heard from the door before it opens, and Sean lets them in.

Jackie: "Shut up... Anyway, show them the thing"

Sean: "Yeah, yeah, come on in."

They all enter and then look around. Many critters roam around the large room, but there is one that catches Y/N's eyes.

Y/N: "Is that a Giant Vigorwasp... with two nectar sacs?"

Sean nods and whistles for it. The Giant Vigorwasp buzzes its way over and stops beside him, looking curiously at everyone in the room. The two nectar sacs hanging off of its body closely resemb-

Kei: "No fair! How come the Vigorwasp has bigger tits than I do?"

She folds her arms and pouts a bit. And yes, the two nectar sacs do resemble a huge pair.

Y/N: "I've never seen this before, oddly enough."

Kei: "Well, I wish it wasn't here."

Jackie smirks at Kei and then pokes her smugly.
