Lucas’s pov

Maya and I finally kissed. I liked her and she liked me. I was just about to ask her to be my girlfriend when Riley burst through the door and says,

“Why do you both hate?! How could you Lucas? I thought you liked me. I thought we had a moment that day after you and Maya got in a fight-”

“What?” Maya and I say at the same time.

“What does she mean you two had a moment?” Maya said getting a little jealous.

“I don’t know!” I say.

“Really! Right after Maya left. It was just the two of us. We were talking.” Riley says still looking hopeful. Like I’m going to realize that I am madly in love with her.

“Riley, I sorry but I don’t like you like that.” I look over at Maya, “I like someone else.”

Maya started to blush like crazy. She’s so cute when she blushes.

“So ma’am,” I started, “will you be my girlfriend?”

“AHHHHH!!!!” Riley says as she walks out of the room.

“Yes, Cowboy.” Maya says with a huge grin.

Maya’s pov

Lucas is my boyfriend! He just asked me. Riley and I are not friends anymore, and I kind of feel bad. I know she really likes him, and he flat out said he didn’t like her. But on the bright side, I have a boyfriend!
