Lucas's pov
I can't believe I did that. She just walked out the door and I didn't even stop her. Of course she wouldn't use it against me. Now it is just Riley and I standing here not speaking.
"I'm sorry about the whole not wanting to be here thing." I say breaking the silence.
"You should be telling Maya that. New York City is her playground, she loves it here. You really offended her."
"She hates me."
"No. She is just mad." Riley says giving me a hopeful look.
"I don't know, but what I do know is that I screwed up. She is my best friend. She would never hurt me like I did her."
"You did screw up. But even if she had used it against you. I never would do that to you."
It's obvious Riley likes me. Everyone knows. I don't like her as anything more than just a friend. I like someone else.
Maya's pov
I sit on the fountain in some park. I keep replaying mine and Lucas's fight in my head. I shouldn't have yelled at him. I understand why he thought I might use the tape against him. I should call him. I take out my phone and dial his number. He picks up immendiately.
(Maya=Bold, Lucas=Normal)
Hey... Hey... Lucas, I am really sorry. I understand why you thought I would use the tape against you. I shouldn't have yelled. Maya, I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have accused you of anything. You would never do that to a friend. I am sorry. So.... You want to meet up at Starbucks? I'd love to. Be there in 10. Bye Bye
Yayyyyyy! I have a "date" with Lucas Friar!!! Wait, what?
