Yeah there's gonna be a part 2, I was just messing with y'all. It's going to be published in this same book so it's not very confusing.

To clear up some questions.

Was Brett a fish?
No. I saw y'all comment this which honestly had me surprised but Brett does in fact have schizophrenia. During the story, Brett had a delusion that he was a fish, resulting in being careless with his health because he felt out of place in the human world. This made Eddy scared that Brett would hurt himself. I myself have this disorder, I've had it since I was young, and I just wanted to let you guys know that I wrote my experiences and some struggles that I really cannot help. The original story, Brett was meant to kill Eddy because of the pills but I honestly didn't want to be giving the "Mentally ill people are murderers" stereotype anything so I decided to go for a different kind of ending, which I believe is just as good.

Was Brett dead the whole time?
Yes. Have y'all not been paying attention to the names of the chapters and what they spell out? The clues were there during the moments in present time. Go reread if you don't believe me. Go reread knowing Brett was actually an hallucination, it'll make sense

Did Eddy really kill Brett?

How did Brett Die?
The prologue to part 2 will explain that, I wrote it before I even wrote the first chapter lolz. How do you guys think he died? 👀

Why.
I don't know honestly. This story was originally named "Oh, To Be Lovely..." and it was going to be a BTS ship, but I wanted to try something new for once. Therefore I switched over to this account, made it a Brett and Eddy story and switched up some of the plot, since the more and more I thought of it, the better the story formed. In my old account I was known for writing gruesome and sad things all the time 💀
