"Wake up *kicks Sakura's leg* We have to get moving. It's morning"

Kana wasn't too happy about the long journey she had to make, but it was in her best interest. Her lover didn't die in vain and she'll prove it. It wasn't about marriage anymore, it was about pride and most importantly closure.

Kana should've listened the first time when Sakura had told her about this dangerous task. It wasn't worth it. If she had known this would be the outcome it would've never been a thought.

Now she walks the floors alone and heartbroken with the murderer of her bride.

"It's too early. You'll never make it if-"

"It wasn't a question. We need to make it there soon because I'm sure you sent out some sort of signal to the rest of the demon race. Anyone to save you from my hold", she spat.

"I wouldn't do that"

"Enough talk. We're leaving"

"You need rest"

"I need to finish what I started with the Supreme Deity"

"You'll die"

"OK! AND?! WHAT ELSE DO I HAVE TO LIVE FOR OTHER THAN HER. YOU TOOK HER AWAY FROM ME!", Kana yelled.

She was in deep pain and this was the only solution she could think of. She wanted to avenge her lovers death, but it wasn't easy. Not only does Sakuras soul co exist in her attackers body, but Kana would have to convince the Supreme Deity to give her angelic blood. She's stuck. Kana can't kill the bitch and the Deity is one tough customer.

"You kill so many people...and yet you scold me for the same thing. I was given an order and obeyed", Sakura scoffed.

"You sure know how to take advantage of your situation. No matter how much you crawl under my skin, I won't kill you. I can't bare the thought of hurting her"

"Her soul was-"

"I still suggest you don't speak anything of her. I don't want to hear a damn thing from you until we reach the Deity"

"She loved you"

There it was. The words that was enough to leave Kana speechless. Why freeze up on something she already knew?

"And it hurts. I love you too Kana and I didn't want you to find out this way. I was ordered to kill you if you remembered even a fraction of your past , but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I fell in love with you knowing what my mission was"

She still didn't say anything. She was still in a unknown trance. Was it because she knew no else could tell if Sakura was in love or maybe she was wrong all that time and it was very well obvious. All those time where Kana thought Sakura was hiding it, it could've shown brightly in those eyes of hers. She loved her.

She really loved her.

"Kan-"

She snapped out of her trance and rushed to the demon who was sitting on the blanket she had provided her. With one hand, she directed Sakuras face to her own and smashed her lips onto hers.

Tears began to run down both of their faces for two different reasons. Sakura was feeling an overwhelming sense of admiration and love. Although she wasn't sure if it was from her own feelings or her preys soul, she couldn't deny that she was enjoying this.

Kana on the other hand was crying because she knew somewhere in there, Sakura was there. She wanted to kiss her one last time before she died on her own and that was the harsh truth. She may very well not live to see another day after she infiltrated the Angels domain, but it was ok because she tried. She is trying with everything she has and is hoping that is enough to make her lover happy.

After a passionate session of bonding, Kana was the first to remove herself, "That was for my wife. Not you"

Sakura was saddened to hear her say it out loud, although she knew it was the truth. This wasn't meant for her. It was meant for the real Sakura. The one she was ordered to consume and disguises as for years to come until it was time for her to kill Kana.

Sakura (fake) P.O.V

Kana didn't deserve this. At least I didn't want to be the one to toy with her heart. The way she would cater to me each and everyday with no question made me feel sick to my stomach. She still had that same love for Sakura from 1,000 years ago and She doesn't even know it. It was true love.

I still remember seeing them in the garden. Fooling around, laughing, playing, just having a good time in general.

"K-Kana stop! Wait wait wait I'm *laughs harder* I'm ticklish!"

We watched the two laugh and smile, hating the sight before us. It was me (Jun) and Tennor. We were sent to spy on Kana, but was amazed along as confused to see her with an Angel.

"Don't run now! You need to suffer the consequences princess", Kana ran after her lover and Sakura was running to save herself the headache she'll have from all the laughing she was gonna be doing if Kana was successful on catching her.

"You think they may be dating", I asked.

"Looks like it. Maybe that's why she decided to betray us. That Angel must have tricked her of some sort", Tennor suggested.

"Well she is sorely mistaken if she thinks it will work. Kana is one of our highest ranked demons. We can't afford to lose her to some Angel that wants to use her. I refuse"

"Then we must manipulate them. That's what we're good at, isn't it"

"Your right, but how could we manipulate someone as strong as her? Legend has it that she is stronger than the 10 commandments"

"Oh come on. Everyone knows that's a myth. How can a woman like her be stronger than those demons handpicked by the demon king himself? It's just isn't possible"

"I guess your right"

But oh how I was wrong.
