Third person's point of view.

The Uchiha's were both amazed and angry with Kuroo, she amazed them with her advancement in her Sharingan and angered them by throwing it away to stop the Fox, though they weren't too angry because she helped so many people and saved the Hokage and his son, but his wife didn't make it, she'd died a few hours after everything was over due to losing the Fox when it was ripped out of her,

The funeral was a couple days after the attack and Kushina was buried with everyone else who had died in the line of duty or the cross-fire of the Fox's rage. Standing in black with everyone, Kuroo stood with Kakashi and Minato, as his students, she felt that it was better for her to stand with him. Plus Kakashi was her eyes, she needed him to know where she was going. After the ceremony and the placing of flowers,

Everyone passed by Minato and gave their condolences, Kakashi pulling Kuroo closer, tucked his face into her hair, his arm hooked her hips to keep her even closer, feeling across Kakashi she used him to find Minato, when she did, she felt down for his hand as he reached for her's knowing she wanted to hold it. "Thank you Kuroo," he said his voice full of sadness but also hope, "Come stay with me," she said suddenly and both guys halted in their spots,

"What?" Minato gasped, "You shouldn't be alone right now, and you'll need a babysitter," she said, "I may not be able to do as many missions as I did before, but while Kakashi helps me adjust, I'll be taking care of Sasuke while everyone's busy, so I can always help you with your little one, I can still use my senses to get a gist for locations and as Hokage, you will be busy, plus I can't stand being by myself in that house anymore," she said,

Expressing the most the two guys have ever seen from her, "Think about it, and when you've decided you know where to find me," she said then turned to reach out for Itachi who had come over to her to bring her home. "She makes a lot of valid points," Minato said, "I hate that about her sometimes," Kakashi said with a soft smile, "Kushina would agree with her though," Minato added, "So you're going to do it then?" Kakashi asked,

"I'm going to have to, Naruto is too young to come with me and I'd rather had someone I trust to look after him while I'm out, and who better than Kuroo," he said and Kakashi nodded. "I'll tell her later, for now..." Kakashi said noticing someone just behind Minato, turning he was greeted by his teacher, "Jiraiya-sensei," he greeted ambivalently with a slight hug as Naruto is currently snoozing away in his father's arms,

"Hey Kakashi, where is this girl you spoke of all the time?" Jiraiya said as he looked around his goofy-pervy side coming through to try and liven up the mood, which helped a bit as Minato hid a small laugh, "She just left, she needs rest," Kakashi said as he moved slightly to block whatever was left of Kuroo's retreating form, "Oooh, protective aren't we," Jiraiya said with a cheeky grin, Kakashi scoffed,

"You think I'm protective, you should meet the Uchiha Heir then," Jiraiya frowned, "I though she was the Heir," he said then looked at Minato, who was just as confused as Kakashi, "Her father was one of my friends back in the day, bugger was stronger than me, Tsunade and Orochimaru combined, unfortunately that put a big target on his back and that of his family, one of his brother's died because of this," Jiraiya said,

A realization that they were still out in the open hit and he sighed, "If you want to know more, it's best we finish this conversation in private," the two guys nodded and Minato lead them to his office, he still wasn't ready to return to the house he shared with Kushina,

Sitting on the couches with tea set out and a bottle of formula for Naruto, Kakashi and Minato listened to stories about Hotaka Uchiha, and about Fugaku and his second oldest brother, the one who had died young and how Jiraiya himself had heard of Hotaka's death, "He had been out with Yua and Kuroo, from what I'd heard, they were attacked and Hotaka was severely wounded but had killed all his attackers before they could even lay a finger on Kuroo or Yua," Jiraiya said,

"Yua had advanced medical skills and at her husband's request implanted his eyes to his daughter." Jiraiya said, it clicked for Kakashi one of the reasons why Kuroo is so powerful, "But Hotaka had his brother's eyes as well as his own so Kuroo's going to be so powerful as she continues to develop her skills..." Jiraiya trailed off as he watched the reactions of Minato and Kakashi,

"What?" he asked, "What's with those expressions?" he added, "Um... Kuroo's blind, she gave up her ocular powers to help me seal the Fox Demon," Jiraiya shot forward in his seat, "What did she use?" he demanded, Minato and Kakashi were startled, "She wouldn't tell me..." Jiraiya sucked his teeth in annoyance, "Why? do you know something we don't?" Kakashi asked hope blooming in his chest at the possibility that Kuroo could get her eyes back,

"I won't know until I speak with her," Jiraiya said and Kakashi sat back in his seat, "The ones that attacked her father... who was it?" Minato asked, "It was during the beginning of the second war, at that point it could have been anyone, even I'm not sure," Jiraiya answered, "What happened to her mother?" Kakashi asked Jiraiya's story having explained what happened to Hotaka but not Yua.

"What I heard was that while trying to bring Kuroo back she was ambushed and mugged, Kuroo was found shortly after by me and several others," Jiraiya said and Kakashi frowned, "She didn't have it easy," he said softly, "No she didn't but she's grown up so much, and quite the warrior I'd heard from other villages, they fear her and her skills," Jiraiya marveled, "That reputation is going to fade over time with her current condition," Minato said,

"Good, she needs the break, let her stay here where it's safe and let her live as normal a life as she can," Kakashi said standing up and bowing to excuse himself, Minato sighed as Kakashi left and closed the door behind himself. "That poor boy," Minato said softly, "Huh?" Jiraiya hummed, "He doesn't know that Kuroo was pregnant a couple months ago," Jiraiya's eyes popped out of his head in surprise,

"Kushina and I had gone to the hospital for an appointment with her Obstetrician, when Kuroo was rushed in by a clansmen, by her clothing alone I could tell she was pregnant and so could Kushina, we were also able to sense the baby within her too," Minato explained, "How do you know it was his child?" Jiraiya asked, "When we stopped by the little room that held the newborns, we noticed that her child had a little beauty mark," Minato said,

Jiraiya didn't seem to get it, "Kakashi has one, you can't see it because it's on the corner of his chin on the left side of his mouth. The baby has one too right under his eye, a trait he inherited from his father," Minato said and Jiraiya's dropped even more, "Why hasn't she told him, they're together aren't they?" Jiraiya asked, "I don't know, I'm hoping that one day when she'd ready she'll tell him, he doesn't deserve to be in the dark like this," Minato said.

Jiraiya couldn't agree more.
