Chap 20

Third person's point of view.

Over the following years Sasuke and Naruto became Chidori's protectors, she quickly blossomed while in the academy, her grades made her the number one kunoichi, the girls were jealous of her and of her relationship with Sasuke and Naruto. But she didn't seem to care and was loving life with her two friends and her mom. Her mother's recent marriage being the best day of her life as her new father adored her.

Shisui took to Aina the second he'd seen her, which ended his playboy days, it took almost two years for Aina to say yes to a date with him. Then another year for her to say yes to him. Chidori became known for her unique style of using Ironsand as a form of fighting. She quickly earned the moniker 'Chidori of Black Sand' and with training from Shisui, Chidori became the fastest student in their year, tying with Naruto.

Sasuke had come to Kuroo one day after school begging her to train with him so he could be as fast as Chidori and Naruto, she had loved that he wanted to better himself. So she started to train with him. He picked up his speed like crazy, Kuroo had to wonder if it was because of her and Kakashi's genetics that contributed to Sasuke physical advancement. Her proud mother instincts warmed during their training sessions,

But she also couldn't help but see that it was mostly his own willpower that pushed him this far. She also realized that Mikoto and Fugaku had died before Sasuke was old enough to be told that he was adopted and her worry rose exponentially. So one night she visiting Itachi on one of his days off and sat with him, "I realized the other day that your parents weren't able to tell Sasuke about his adoption,"

Itachi seemed to come to the same conclusion. "Shit," his cursed. "I'll tell him," Itachi said and Kuroo set her hand on his shoulder, "No, it's my responsibility I'll do it, just promise to be there when he needs someone to talk to," Itachi nodded and Kuroo stood up and turned only to freeze as Sasuke stood there in the doorway, "I-I'm adopted..." he gasped out, "Sasuke..." Kuroo said about to move over to him but he jumped back,

"NO! Why didn't anyone tell me sooner?!" he shouted, "believe me we planned to, but we wanted– no I should say that I wanted to wait till you were older, but screw it your old enough," she said and knelt so she was level with him. "Sasuke... I know you may not really remember them but Mikoto and Fugaku Uchiha were not your biological parents, the woman who gave birth to you... is..."

Kuroo sighed as she was having a hard time finding the right words for this, "it's you isn't it," Sasuke said his hands pulling Kuroo's from her face, "and my dad is he even still alive?" He asked and she nodded vigorously, "he is but I'm not ready for him to know just yet, so for now please don't ask," Sasuke sighed and nodded "fine," he added and she smiled her shoulder dropping like a small weight had been lifted.

Sasuke stepped into her and he let Kuroo's head rest on his shoulder, his small arms wrapping around her, looking at Itachi over her head, Sasuke smirked and mouthed to him, 'I bet I can figure it out before she tells me,' he said and Itachi looked worried. Shaking his head at Sasuke, "Can I tell Naruto and Chi about this?" Sasuke asked and Kuroo flinched a bit, "yes, so long as it's only them and you make them promise to keep it a secret,"

Kuroo said and Sasuke nodded, "Naruto's gonna be so jealous," he said evilly making Kuroo and Itachi laugh, "What were you doing here anyway?" Kuroo asked as Sasuke was about to leave, "I had a question about the training but I forgot what it was," he said and Kuroo nodded. "Okay, off with you now, go make sure Naruto isn't getting into any trouble," Kuroo said and Sasuke nodded, "Okay mom, see you later!" He said as he ran off.

Kuroo's heart beat a bit faster as tears welled up and her throat became thick with emotion. "How did that feel?" Itachi teased his hand resting on her shoulder, "Shut up..." she said wetly and rubbing at her eyes to remove the tears. "Now all you have to do is tell him," Itachi said patting Kuroo's back, "you jerk," she groaned as she crumpled in on herself so she way laying on the floor.

"Sasuke'a gonna figure it out and unintentionally tell him I think it is best if it comes from you than from his son." Itachi said as she nodded. "I know," she said, "I wanna wait till Sasuke's at least 12 to tell him." Itachi frowned "why so late?" He asked "because at that point Sasuke will have a team and he'll be too busy to bother me with questions," Kuroo said, Itachi chuckled "that sounds stupid," he said using a sense of logic on her,

"Why you little...!" She growled and made a grab for him but he laughed and dodged making an escape through the house with her still chasing him.

Sasuke, now 12, sat in his seat at the academy with Naruto on the aisle seat and Chidori to his right. She sat with her hands in her lap and her eyes scanning the room lazily. While Sasuke had his gaze peeking at her out the corner of his eyes; while Naruto chatted with Shikamori and Kiba one row behind them. He couldn't help but admire her, she's by far the prettiest girl he's seen other than his new found mom.

Her sunset eyes turning to him and her soft smile made him blush, "so have you figured out who your dad is?" She asked her hand settling on his elbow, he almost forgot that she'd spoken to him because he was panicking internally at her touch. "No not yet, I got mom to tell me he has a beauty mark like me," he said and Chidori smiled, "that's something at least." She said and he nodded.

"Alright class today is your team placement announcement," Iruka said after coming in and getting everyone's attention, to be honest Sasuke wasn't really listening to any of the teams made before his which was started with his name, "Sasuke Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki and..." Iruka said trailing off to flip the page and find the last name, "Chidori Uchiha," this made both boys happy and Chidori smiled when they hugged her on either side,

"Team 8 is Hinata Hyuga, Shino Aburame, and Kiba Inuzuka," Iruka called, during the commotion, "team 9 is Sakura Haruno..." that team was Ino's best friend and two other fan girls, "team 10 is Ino Yamanaka, Shikamaru Nara and Choji Akamichi," then he continued with other teams but the ten rookies were dismissed for lunch and were told to return to the room at one to meet their new teacher, leaving Sasuke, Chidori and Naruto walked out together,

Fangirls rushed to follow, but the second the trio got outside, they used their speed to get away from the fans. Settling in one of the empty classrooms they started to eat, "Okay, I feel that we should focus on the best teamwork we can with our new teacher," Chidori announced, "Why wouldn't we give our best anyway?" Naruto said, "Because I feel like the teacher will try and test our bonds," Sasuke nodded, 

"She's got a point, no matter what Naruto we need to stick together," Sasuke said holding out his fist for one of their usual group fist bumps, grinning he nodded and added his own fist, the two of them looked to Chidori and she grinned as she added her own.
