Chapter 4: Go on a Date with me?

Daichi pov:

"Hey Boss" Sugawara said walking in.

"Hey Suga" I said.

"So what was up with that girl yesterday?" Suga asks.

"Oh you mean Y/n? We were just talking" I answered in a monotone voice.

"Oh really you know her name too" Suga says with a smirk.

"Suga what are you planning?" I asked getting suspicious.

"Oh nothing~" Suga said walking out.

I sat there doing the money count as Suga left, but I got sidetracked thinking about Y/n. I sighed shaking my head to get rid of my thoughts and continued counting the money.

Y/n pov:

I walked into a store not to far from my apartment and go to the front desk to see one of my friends.

"Hey Zack" I say.

"Oh hey Y/n long time no see how have you been?" Zack asks.

"Good I guess" I said unsure about what to say.

"That's good I'm guessing your here for the cigarettes?" He said.

"Yup I'll have two packs thanks" I replied.

"Here you go" he says handing me the cigarettes.

"Thanks man I gotta go" I said leaving.

"Bye Y/n" he shouts out as I walk out the door.

I head down to the bar and see that's its quiet, I sit down on a bar stool.

"Hey Y/n" Jake says putting a glass down infront of me.

"Hey Jake and thanks for the drink" I said.

I pull out a cigarette and put it in my mouth, I grab my lighter and tried lighting my cigarette but it wasnt working. I sighed and put it away, I was just about to take the cigarette out of my mouth when...

"Need a light?" A manly voice said.

"Thanks" I said not looking at the man as I light my cigarette up.

I look up to see Daichi, I look away while blushing.

"No problem" he says sitting down in the bar stool next to me.

While I was smoking, I could see Daichi looking at me.

"Is something wrong Daichi?" I ask.

"Oh um nothing why you ask?" He says.

"You kept looking at me" I said.

"Oh sorry I've just never seen you smoke here before" he explains.

"Oh yeah I dont really smoke but I only smoke when I really need it" I say blowing smoke into the air.

"Oh okay" he said drinking his alcohol.

We stay like this for awhile, I was smoking and he was drinking.

"Hey Y/n you wanna go out on a date with me?" Daichi asked breaking the silence between us.

"No thanks" I answer but I was shocked to hear those words it's been so long since I have heard them.

"Oh ok" he said sounding sad.

He stood up and left with that sad look on his face, I suddenly felt guilty because I rejected him. I'm so going to regret this.

"Hey wait" I said standing up while grabbing his wrist.

"Yeah I'm listening" he says standing there to his back towards me.

"I'll go on a date with you" I said.

"Really?" Daichi says turning to look at me.

"Yes" I answered.

"Okay then meet me outside this bar tomorrow at 6:30pm" he said.

"Okay see you then" I say letting go of his wrist and sitting back down.

"See you then" Daichi says leaving.

I sighed, I haven't dated anyone in four years and I'm so nervous, am I ready for this? I was to caught up in my thoughts to see Jake standing in front of me.

"Hey Y/n you okay?" Jake asks.

"...huh oh yeah I'm fine" I say.

"Are you thinking about the date tomorrow?" He asked smirking at me.

"How did you know" I said shocked he knew about that.

"I overheard you guys talking... anyways are you nervous?" He explained.

"Yeah I am I haven't dated anyone is four years Jake and I don't think I'm ready" I answer.

"Don't worry you have me I'll take you shopping tomorrow morning" he says confidently.

"Okay meet here at 9:00am then?" I asked.

"Yup" he replies.

"Okay cool I'll see you then" I said standing up.

"See you then Y/n" Jake says.
