harry potter x reader: shadows

it was almost 3 a.m. i had to be up from my classes in 4 hours but i didn't mind. i was used to barely getting any sleep.

suddenly i heard the floor boards creek. i didn't think about it too much because the castle was like 1,000 or more years old.

as i continued reading my book i heard it again. i ignored it and thought it was mrs norris. but it happened again.

i got up slowly and searched around my dorm for a flashlight. i grabbed one from my dorm mates drawer and ran back into the warmth of my bed.

i flicked it on and looked around the room. there was nothing there. i convinced myself it was just my imagination.

about 30 minutes later there were no creaks and i was starting to get tired. i laid down, covered myself with a blanket, and went to sleep.

i got awoken by someone shaking me very harshly. "ugh what?" i said in a groggy voice. "wake up slut" i heard a deep voice groan.

i opened my eyes quickly to see malfoy peering at me. we hated each other ever since i accidentally spilled my dinner on him in 2nd year.

anyways, he had drawn his wand out. i rolled my eyes. "save your stupid little spells for the morning will you?" i asked forgetting why he was so mad.

"did you forget what you did to me y/l/n?" he snarled. i thought back to yesterday. it hit me. when we were playing quidditch i kicked him.

he fell at least 15 feel in his broom before it snapped in half from malfoy landing on it. it was his favorite broom, he always bragged about it.

my face turned a deep shade of red. his wand was pointed at my nose. "we can work this out, just give me second chance please-" i said not knowing what his next move would be.

"oh saint y/l/n, i don't 'work things out' or 'give second chances" he said with a tone of disgust.

i looked around the room for my wand but saw a shadowed figure in the corner of my room. "i'm gonna torture you so hard you won't remember your name" he smiled.

suddenly the shadow came out of the corner. it was harry! "stand back malfoy" he exclaimed raising his wand at him.

"why should i" he asked. "alright, have it your way" he said murmuring some words i didn't understand. a snake came out from under my bead and started to come at malfoy.

he yelped and hopped like a little girl. he ran out of the door with the snake still trailing behind him. "how did you-" i said blushing.

"don't worry about it" he said sitting next to me. we looked at each other dead into each other's eyes until he pushed my hair behind my ear.

he slowly leaned in, as i did too. we shared a kiss of passion, love, and lust. we had never shown interest in each other but at that moment we both knew, we needed each other.
