Chapter 1 gathering of powers

After 2 months the time had come,The tournament was about to begin.Many of the faction leaders were gathered to watch the competition live.Among them was the four devil kings, multiple arc angels, high ranking members of the Gregory as well as many others.

Sirzechs:I can already tell this competition is sure to be exciting.

Serafall:Yep I'm sure that my sona Chan is going to win!

Ajuka:I'm glad to have a break from all of our work.I think an event like this is essential to strengthening the bonds between all of the factions in the world.

Falbium:Hey do any of you know who that woman is speaking to ms Yasaka.

The four devil kings looked toward the leader of the yokai to see another kitsune speaking to her.

It was the goddess Amaterasu, she had become known in recent years for  becoming quite a hermit barely interacting with any faction besides her own.If she was here than it must be for a good reason.The faction leaders continued to converse as they waited for the competition to begin.

The competitors were all gathered in a single room with a stage.A certain dragon was wearing a cloak, he was scanning the room he saw a few fighters that he recognised and many he didn't.
Suddenly a group stormed through the door they were all breathing heavily, it was clear that  they had rushed to get here.A brown haired boy was the first to start speaking.

Brown hair:hooo we finally made it.

White haired girl:I can't believe we were almost late because of you issei.

Red hair:Now now Koneko if anything it was my mistake.

Koneko:Whatever.

Just as that group entered the room Azazel appeared on the stage earning the attention of everyone in the room.

Azazel:Now that everyone has arrived I'll explain the rules of the competition.The format of the main event will be a battle royale spread over a large artificial space.However since there was a few more teams than expected we'll be having a few opening rounds,So now it is my honor to announce the beginning of the preliminary round.

Cheers could be heard from all over the supernatural world.One by one the different teams were taken into different arenas.Eventually Y/n was teleported into a dark room.As Y/n prepared sword rose out of the ground which Y/n picked up.

The sword was called the dragon sword kagero, a gift from the dragon kings.Another magic circle appeared below Y/n which teleported him into the arena.

Announcer:This battle shall be fought between team Phoenix of the devils vs Y/n of the DRAGONS!?!?

This reveal shocked the spectators now all eyes were glued on the cloaked figure.

*meanwhile*

Michael:Dragon?

Gabriel:He doesn't look like a dragon.

Sirzechs:indeed.

One of the faction leaders in particular was interested by this competitor.

Amaterasu:(So you're still alive huh kid?)

Yasaka:Are you alright lady Amaterasu.

Amaterasu:huh? Oh yes I'm fine.

A dark aura began to surround y/n before his cloak was suddenly blasted off.Y/n took a step forward and suddenly black and red chains burst out of his chest and began wrapping around his left arm.From the room of spectators Azazel gained a smirk.The chains on Y/n's hand formed into a gauntlet.

Announcer:LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!
