Liah pov
I woke up around 2:00am and as I suspected Jahseh wasn't in the bed. I got up and walked to the living room. He was stretched out on the couch with his head back and his mouth slightly opened.
I walked towards him and tapped his shoulder until he woke up. He stared at me for a while "what?"he asked
"are you sleeping out here?"I asked
"yeah"he said rubbing his eye
"Why?"
"reasons being obvious Liah"he mumbled
"I apologized Jahseh..what else do you want me to say?"I sighed
"Ya know..we've said some hurtful shit to each other but that was literally the most hurtful shit...you've ever said to me"His voice cracked but he quickly cleared his throat
I nodded "I know-"
"Then you was gone all day..I wanted you to be with me on your birthday...but you were with him"he said
"Jahseh, I understand what you're saying-"
He exhaled deeply "we'll talk about this later, I wanna go to sleep"he said before turning his back on me
"okay..."I walked back to the bedroom and closed the door

1:00 pm
"Yeah ma, you can bring him over"I said
"you sure? can Liah handle a dog right now?"My mom asked
She wasn't sure if we should take in Sora yet, considering everything that just happened but I'm sure Liah will be okay with it.
"yes, I'm sure"I nodded
"Okay, I'm on my way"she said before hanging up
I went to the bedroom to check on Liah. When I went in the room I heard the shower running. I made my way inside the bathroom and saw her standing in the shower...just as I was about to walk back out I heard her sniffing. I walked closer to the shower and heard her light cries. I took a deep breath and walked back out to sit on the bed.

Liah came out the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body. She paused in her tracks seeing me sitting on the bed.
"Come here Li.."I mumbled
She walked closer to me, I looked up at her and stood up. "I heard you crying in the shower...why were you crying?"
She looked away as tears swelled up in her eyes. "Everything that's going on...with Kentrell, the fact that I'm almost due to have this baby, my anxiety, my sudden mood swings...which caused me to hurt your feelings yesterday, I really am sorry for saying that to you"
"I don't know Li...it sounded like you really meant that shit"
"I didn't.."she shook her head and quickly wiped her tears
