"Haley?"My voice cracked
Her eyes started to water as she made her way over to me and bringing me into the strongest, heartfelt hug I ever felt. "I missed you sis"She whispered
"I missed you too..I thought you hated me" I frowned
"No Liah, I never hated you"
After what seemed like forever we finally broke the hug. "I heard about what happened, you okay?"Haley asked
"One day at a time ya know?"
She nodded "well, you look amazing..where's my little cousin?!"she squealed
"Oh, she's inside with her dad..come on"I grabbed her hand and started walking to my apartment as my dad went ahead of us and parked.
I opened the door to my apartment only to see Jahseh fully dressed about to head out with Xiorra in his arms.
"Liah, why would you run off like that?"Jahseh asked, clearly agitated
"Um This is Jahseh, my boyfriend..Jah this is Haley"I smiled
She nodded "it's nice too meet you"
"Yeah you too, Liah? can we talk"He asked
"Jahseh don't be rude move and let her in"I gently pushed him back and walked inside with Haley.
Haley gasped "awww, is this Xiorra? can I hold-"
Haley reached for Xiorra but Jahseh took a step back and side eyed her. "Um...think you can wash your hands first?"Jahseh asked her
"Oh, sure"Haley nodded
I lead Haley to the bathroom so she could wash her hands, afterwards Jahseh handed Xiorra to Haley. "Oh my god, she's so beautiful"
Me and Haley sat by each other and Jahseh stood up with his shoulder leaned against the living room wall.
I smiled at her and shifted my eyes to Jahseh. His eyes were piercing through Haley as if he was trying to read her. Before I could say anything Jahseh broke his silence.
"Haley, Liah's told me a lot about you"Jahseh said with a stale face
"Oh really?"Haley smiled as she held Xiorra finger
"Yeah, a lot about how you were like a sister to her"Jahseh tilt his head and looked at me
"Yeah, we were like sisters"Haley said
"What happen?"Jahseh asked
"Well, I moved to California"Haley shrugged
"So y'all stopped talking after you moved to California?"Jahseh asked her
"Yeah"Haley nodded
"Why no phone calls? or Visits?"Jahseh asked her
Haley looked at me and looked back at Jahseh "We didn't exactly end on a good note"
"Ohhh, so what makes you think coming here, out of nowhere, was okay with Liah?"He asked
"It wasn't her fault we left on a bad note...it was mine, I mean it was around the time I was with Kentrell, I was on drugs really bad" I said
