Jahseh and I were cuddling on the couch watching the show Big Mouth on Netflix.
"Mmm why do you smell so good?"
"because I don't use deodorant and I only take bhubble bayths"Connie said
"bruh what?"Jahseh laughed
I chuckled "I swear this show is too weird"
Jahseh tighten his grip and me. I then heard the ringing, I grabbed my phone off the floor. I took a deep breath before answering.
Jahseh looked at me "who is that?"he asked
"Kentrell.."I mumbled
Jahseh scoffed "Wonder what he's gonna say..put it on speaker"
I clicked the speaker button and a few seconds after pressing 1, I heard his voice. "Hey baby"
"Do you have everything?"I asked him
"Yeah, Liah... have you been thinking about me as much as you use to?"he asked
"I've been trying to do everything possible to keep you out my mind"
"Oh okay I was just calling to tell you that after midnight the ritual will be gone"he implied
"It better be...bye-"
"Wait..um did they tell you when the court date was?"he sighed
"No" I answered
He suddenly went quiet on the phone...and I heard noise in the distance. "Can I tell you something Liah? something I've never told anybody"

"I have bipolar depression along with O.L.D"he said quickly

"and I haven't taken my medication in 5 years, and um I'm addicted to cocaine"he admitted
Jahseh shook his head "should've known he was a crackhead"he mumbled lowly
"What are you telling me this for? I'm confused are you trying to coming up with excuses for what you did? because I'm not-"
Kentrell cut me off "No baby...no I just, fuck I just wish I wasn't such a fuck up and I'm really sorry for everything baby I really am.. I wish I could rewind the time and start all over again..I'm so so sorry please forgive me"he begged
"Stop calling me baby Kentrell...just do the ritual and if it works I'll THINK about forgiving you"I hung up on him, Jahseh looked at me "you really gon' forgive him??"he asked
"Hell no.."I said
He nodded "good"
"um where is the mailbox keys?" I asked him
"Uhhh, oh they in the room why?"Jahseh asked
"I wanna go check the mail real quick"I yawned getting up
"Oh I'll get that later baby come lay back down with me"he said
"It's literally right there Jahseh"I walked to the bedroom to grab the keys and went back to the living room. Jahseh was standing in front of the door.
