it was October 7th at 11 am all that had happened daily was work, work and more work, one day after school Melody decided she wanted to talk to her brother, Michael, they had not chatted in a while so she ran in to the Gryffindor common room up the stairs to the boys dorm hall then knocked on the door of the 3rd dorm.
"Hello, What do you want from the Gold guys?" she heard Michael ask "It's Melody, your sister" Melody said "What do you want?" Michael asked again "I just want to talk to you, we have not talked in a while and I have a question for you" Melody said "Fine you can come in" Michael said opining the door.
It was just Michael, not James or Albus, Charlie there other dorm mate was a third year and spending the day in Hogsmeade with his friends. Melody secretly hopped that Albus was there so she could say 'Hi' to him.
"So what did you come here for?" Michael asked her "Well I.. well um...I wanted to ask if Rose, Lily and I could copy you name, well not copy it but make up a different name like um... like The gold trio or something like that?" Melody asked nervous he would say no "oh, yeah sure, go right ahead and make up you own name" Michael said "well I guess I'll see you later then, thanks for letting me make up a name" Melody replied, then she walked over and hugged him.
Back in Melody's dorm :
"Lily, Rose come here!" Melody yelled excitedly, Lily and Rose ran straight over and started jumping up and down saying "What!, What!" "So, I just went to ask Michael and he said we could make up a name like Albus, James and him call themselves the gold guys!" Melody said now very pumped up "Oooh! what are we going to name ourselves?" Rose asked jumping up and down.
"Maybe the good girls trio?" Lily suggested "I like the girl trio part but I'm not really loving the good part at the beginning" Rose said "Maybe the great girls trio?" Melody suggested. The girls went back and forth with names until they decided on 'The Golden Girls Trio'
"The Golden Girls Trio, The Golden Girls Trio!" Lily ran around the room singing "Lets make posters and hang them around the Gryffindor common room so people will know who we our" Rose said "Great idea Rose!" Melody said. the girls spent the rest of the afternoon making and creating posters to post up on Gryffindor common room walls.
