It was October 23rd and Rose, Melody and Lily were back from there classes when they saw 2 new signs on the cork board, the first one looked like this

"That's a lot to take in!" Rose said "hmm, Maybe we should wait till the first Hogwarts Prophet comes out before we join" Melody said "Good idea!" Rose replied "hey, do you girls wanna come to the potter manner for the week?" Lily asked Rose and Melody "I would love to if my parents allow it, and you've got to ask if you are allowed to invite us first" Melody said "Lets send owls to our parents" Rose said. They all walked up to there dorm to get parchment, quills and ink.
Melody's letter Read "Hi Mum, Hi Dad, I'm sure your getting owls about this but there is a Hogwarts expansion week from the 1st-7th of November, Lily invited Rose and I to stay at the Potter manner for the week, am I allowed? Please floo there to visit me if I'm allowed Miss you, Melody"
Rose's Letter Read "Hi Mom and Dad Lily invited me and Melody to stay with her at Potter Manner for the Hogwarts expansion week (Owls from school will be sent explaining) am I allowed? if I am then please come visit me when were there Love, Rose"
Lily's Letter Read "Hi mum, Hi Dad, I invited Melody and Rose to come stay at our house during Hogwarts expansion week (Owls from headmaster will explain more) I'm just letting you know so that you can expect to more people from November 1st-7th Thanks, Lily"
The girls walked up to the owlery to find Creampuff, Snowball and Elfie so they could sent there letter's, They gave there owls a treat then sent them off.
1 hour later Lily got a letter saying "Of course you can have Rose and Melody stay, Melody's mum, Emma is one of your mums best friends and Rose is your cousin, Mum and I got the letter explaining the Hogwarts expansion I miss you lots, Dad"
2 hours later Rose and Melody got a response.
Rose's read "Of course you can stay there, there your cousins, we will make sure to visit you and we got the owl explaining expansion week Love, Mom"
Melody's Read "Yes Dear, you can stay at the Potters house, Ginny was one of my best friends when I was in Hogwarts, we will make sure to visit, I got the owl from Hogwarts, your brother also sent a letter saying Albus invited him to stay also Love you, Mum"
"Whelp! I guess you two can stay" Lily said "I'm soooo exited" Melody squealed "I better start packing" Rose said suddenly in a rush "Rose, We don't leave for another 8 days" Lily said "Oh, I knew that" Rose said remembering.
