Ideas:
1. If you don't know what to write about, try looking at an incomplete story that hadn't been updated in at least two years, and re-writing it because it's not done (make sure to give the original author credit of some sort)
2. Ask yourself these:
Where?
Why?
How
When?
Who?
What?
Goals for the characters?
Genre (and stick to it)
3. Have an idea of the ending (write the ending first)
4. Plan your characters (most importantly the protagonist and antagonist.
5. Have a timeline of when the events happen
6. Have at least 2 or 3 supporting characters who help the protagonist and antagonist
7. The five parts of a plot are the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution, so use this to write your story/plot.
