Very Small Q&A

So I'm amazed to see I'm already at 2k in a few days after posting my last chapter and very thankful! Though I'm a little surprised that no one wanted to do a small Q&A aside from the few who did posted a question. But I'm still doing it!

Lakzniwbzuwa asked What's MK and his squad/team's first impression of her? (and I think that's a good question, honest!)

MK: Shocked. She fell right out of nowhere and on top of Red Son! Honestly thought she was gonna die! But aside from that, she seemed pretty nice and cool from the very little chance of getting to know each other before we are going through one battle after another, after another!

Tang: Unusual, but curious if I had to put it into words. Unusual for someone that looks so different, claims to be from another world that isn't our, the heavens or the underworld. And what really sparked my interest is how much our worlds are parallel with one another. Even have stories of the Monkey King but aside from a few main points that lead to who the Monkey King was, was completely different. As to these new 'powers' of hers. She said that she never had anything like this, nor anyone in her word. That is to say, if you wanna count the movies too. But she seemed well mannered, smart and curious about our world as we are of her. Maybe a good balance for MK and his sporadic tendencies.

Pigsy: The kid got spunk. Her weapons were impressive, even if she didn't know how she made them. It was kinda weird to hear she was from some other world but doesn't mean she's bad. Can't imagine how she feels with the whole situation but I gotta say I'm amazed she can keep herself together as she has! She also shows potential in the kitchen too; I'm thinking about having her give me a hand while MK is doing his mystic magic business.

Mei: Would you actually believe I felt guilty originally. I thought it was a game MK, (y/n) and Red Son was playing and I...I honestly thought that...But she didn't! And that was like twenty times so cool to hear! She was saved by Monkey King, sounds like a princess saved by a knight in shining armor! And the weapons she made! TOTALLY AWESOME! Until I broke them by accident. Whoops! But it's also cool to have another girl to hang with and party it up! Doesn't make that big a difference if she's from here or not, she's cool; not to mention super cute! It's like a puppy and kitten cuddling together level of cuteness!

Sandy: (y/n) is a very nice and polite girl! She didn't seem that upset about me not fighting and went with my request, that right there showed how pure hearted she is and honestly cares for others. I can understand feeling a little different; not man of us sea-people living are really around here but when all things are settled, the others don't mind. The therapy cats don't mind her whatsoever and she even gushed over them with me! I feel very at peace when we drink tea on my boat and feel the breeze comes by, it makes it a lot better with a new friend!

Monkey King: Surprised, and I don't get surprised THAT much. Though it was kind of funny how she landed on Red Son. But the true moment of shock was when she held up the staff too! Not anyone can hold it and for her to be from another world, I can't tell if its because she's from another world or there's more to her that she may not know yet either. She is just as cute as she is curious. Always want to know more on what's going on as well as when she looks up to me and we are in our own small world...yeah, well, it's real different and a nice change of pace to feel and all.

Red Son: That blasted peasant! She first crushes me under her and then ruins the biggest moment of my life and makes a fool of me in front of my father! She is on my list for sure! However, That night, shortly after the great battle, the one where our victory was stolen from us by that annoying noodle boy and his pathetic friends, we somehow found each other at the same restaurant and offered me, her mortal enemy, a seat and eat together! How ridiculous is that?! Naturally, I stayed on guard in case she were to pull something. However, nothing did. We ate, talked and discuss about food. It felt...normal. And that isn't normal for demons! And she even had the galls to ask me to go walk with her, in public no less! What am I, a babysitter?! however she proved to be entertaining after a while, especially with my toy stick hitting her in the head, that part I couldn't help but be happy of that accident. So now, now I....I don't know...She's different that for sure but, she doesn't belong and should stay out of our way if she knows what's good for her!

AJK_Wonderz asked I wanted to know does anyone freak out or get scared of Y/N since ofc she's a bit different from them

The regular everyday people stare when they notice the characteristics, that doesn't mean they would be beyond negative about it. Like children would be curious and ask parents why they look different or it would be a surprise to see someone different altogether knocking at your door with your food. But after they were to chat and talk or see a bit more about them, see that despite looking a little off (they coexists with demons, enough said) that they aren't someone to worry about or anything and continue on. The group, I mean when they first met her, and seeing already trusts her, they immediately took in whatever she was as a good person and had to focus on the real enemy and problem. After they celebrated and managed to calm down, they were all beyond curious about her.

I kinda of take this as to someone who cosplays and imagine the outside pov of it and made it feel like that.

GalaxyDreamer123 asked the next question: I'm curious about what does Y/N represents as? Because I felt like it's has something to do about white lotus, I think

That's honestly a loaded question; so I kinda just used the lotus power and flower in for a magical representation but it is a very sacred flower in China and India, especially with their religion. As I'm (currently answering) doing research to help make it where reader has a larger role to play out, I found an interesting history bit (just now). That in the 17th century, there was a small rebellion group in a part of china that was call the white lotus that was trying to take the down the alien (not martins for those who doesn't know) did small guerilla attacks as well, all ensure the people that they will bring back buddha into their country again. That is mega brief to what it really was about. I'm great at myths, not history. But imagine that, a small unknown group or individual fighting for their own reason under the symbol of the white lotus to the tyranny above them, against the demons and bull king family, sounds something like reader may do in a sense.

Anyways, in the myth wise, the white lotus represents, hope, resilience, and strength. Of course some say more, some say different, this is one of the few common meanings, like a red rose represents love. It's also a flower that means enlightenment in Buddhism. So of course what's all his suppose to mean for the reader? Well, aside from the heavy symbolism and representation, it was also the flower the goddess Guanyin is represented and known for. She rides a giant lotus flower as my proof! But the goddess of mercy was beyond powerful as well one of buddhas disciples. She was what inspire me with the power and what to kinda represent. I don't want reader to be an out right "reincarnation" or "representation" of the goddess herself since she may make an appearance herself. But I wanted there to be a mystery and role with ancient mythical powers that was so powerful that it was strong enough to pull the right person to where they're most needed. To save them while unlocking the potential of the power. Or maybe that it was sent out and because magic is magic and therefore unpredictable, could have went to our realm and pulled reader through to be the holder until the true caster is able to retake the powers once more. I'm still thinking about where the powers, what they can do and when they are able to be revealed, at the moment. So we will all see as it goes.

Sum up: lotus is a big deal in buddha's and Chinese/Indian myth and it's unknown ancient magic that the author hasn't thought up where it came from and hate to rewrite if the story mixes with the official series.

That seemed to be the end of all the questions. Oh well, I still enjoy interacting with my loyal and new readers all the same. I'm also sure you guys are very surprised to see the new chapter. Well, I didn't have much to do yesterday afternoon and it didn't take as long nor as many blocks to write up the next chapter so I figured why not. I'm debating on getting more of this written or start drafting my new story. Either way, I'll see you all in the next chapter! Have a great one!
