Natalie feels her heart drop when she hears that gallo isn't breathing. She races up the stairs
"Call out!" Natalie shouts
"In here!" The firefighter shouts
Natalie runs in to see the firefighter doing CPR on gallo. Natalie races to his side and takes gallos hand in hers
"How long have you been doing CPR for?" Natalie asks
"About 5 minutes now!" The firefighter says out of breath
"Let's get him out and to the medics!" Natalie says lifting gallo by has arms
The firefighter takes his feet and they race down the stairs. They burst out the door and place gallo carefully on the stretcher. Natalie stands to the side with tears in her eyes
"He's not breathing! Start CPR!" Dawson shouts
"On it!" Brett shouts as she does cpr on gallo
Dawson puts the cardiac leads on him and they check for a pulse again
"I've got a pulse! We need to intubate him to keep it that way!" Dawson says getting the tube ready
Dawson carefully intubates gallo and they load him onto the back of the ambo. Natalie shoots Boden a look
"Go! We will meet you at Chicago med!" Boden says as Natalie jumps into the ambo
They race to Chicago med and arrive 5 minutes later. They hand gallo off to Dr.Halstead and Dr.Choi. Dawson, Natalie and Brett are sitting in the waiting room when the rest of 51 burst through the door
"How is he?" Casey asks
"There um worried that he didn't get enough oxygen to the brain when he wasn't breathing" Natalie says with tears in her eyes
"They said that something hit him in the head causing him to go down. Then he ran out of air" Dawson says rubbing Natalies back
"He's a fighter!" Kelly says sitting down next to Natalie
"Yeah he's gonna pull through Natalie!" Casey says with a warm smile on his face
"What if I had gotten to him sooner? Would it have made a difference! Maybe he would be awake and talking right now!" Natalie says in a panic
"It wouldn't have made a difference and you know that!" Dawson says reassuringly
"Yeah! You did everything you could when you found him!" Kelly says as Natalie lays her head on hiss shoulder
"I feel like a horrible Luitenent!" Natalie says as a tear falls from her face onto Kelly's shoulder
"We've all made mistakes! We've lost so many at 51 but that was never down to us!" Casey says looking into Natalies eyes
"Yeah! We are who we are today because of them! We've became stronger from making mistakes!" Boden says smiling
Dr.Choi then joins them with a worried look on his face....
