It's the next morning and Kelly wakes up with a shooting pain in his neck from the way he slept. He fell asleep on the edge of Natalies hospital bed clutching her hand as tightly as he could to make sure she wasn't going anywhere. "K-Kelly?" Natalie says groggily "Natalie! Your awake! Let me get the doctor!" Kelly says enthusiastically Kelly leaps out of his chair and runs to the door "Nurse! I need a doctor in here! She's awake!" Kelly says happily "I'll send him in" the nurse says as she flashes Kelly a smile Kelly rushes back over to Natalie and takes her hand "I've missed you so much! So has everyone! Thank god your okay!" Kelly says enthusiastically "Calm down there buddy" Natalie says weakly Just then the Dr walks in "Ahh Miss Lewis! It's great to see you awake! Must be for your husband too!" The doctor says looking at his chart "Husband? Oh he's-" Natalie says before Kelly joins in too "Yeah I'm not" Kelly says awkwardly "Oh it's just he never left the hospital! And never let go of your hand the whole time you were out!" The doctor says as Natalie smiles at Kelly "Yeah that's Kelly Severide! One of the greatest men you will ever meet!" Natalie says smiling "Well everything looks good miss Lewis! You should be good to go home in a few days or a week at most!" The doctor says before walking out "I need to call everyone! I love you Natalie!" Kelly shouts before rubbing out not realising what he has just said "I love you too Kelly!" Natalie whispers with a smile on her face It's an hour later and the whole or most of 51 has appeared at Natalies door "There she is! We thought we'd lost you this time!" Casey says smiling "Oh please! You can't can't rid of me that easily!" Natalie says as she laughs but winces in pain "We need you! Your the best truck Luitenent we've had in ages!" Mouch says as Casey shoots him a look "Yes! She is better than you!" Cruz says as he laughs "Shut up Cruz! You've never had me as a Luitenent so you don't get to comment!" Casey says "Your probably better than Severide anyway!" Cruz says as Kelly looks him dead in the eye "Watch it Cruz! Your still on my truck!" Kelly says as they all laugh It's later that night and Kelly has been made to go home. Natalie is so bored that she texts Kelly(See Below) when Kelly opens it he smiles "No! I can not bail you out of a hospital! You might need PD for that! Now go to sleep! Your giving me a headache and I'm not even there!" Kelly texts back "You better not be watching love island without me!" Natalie replies "No promises!" Kelly replies as Natalie smiles
