The Fight In The Forest

Days went by pretty fast and Voldermort hasn't tried to attack Hermione which made Draco slightly suspicious. Wgoins he going on the down low all of the sudden? The wonderful time him and Hermione spent together made him forget all about though.

One sunny warm day the whole gang including Draco went for a walk in the forest. Harry had been claiming hearing voices leading in to the forest so they all went with him in pairs. Draco and Hermione were in the front and to her right was Ron with Lavender. To Draco's left was Harry with Ginny. Behind them was Luna with her new boyfriend Rolf Scamander and behind Ron was Neville with his new girlfriend Hannah Abott. Of course they were all holding hands and to Hermione's and Draco's surprise, no one had commented about them holding hands. They were all too busy talking anyways. "Hermione, I've noticed that you haven't brought your cat. How do you send messages?" "I left Crookshanks back home. I got an owl named Godric. I always leave him in the owlery room." She replied. "Why Godric?" "I had no other name." She said simply shrugging. "Mind you that cat looked pretty vicious." Hermione gave a small laugh. "He's a sweetheart really." She replied while Draco smirked and rolled his eyes. "Sure." He sarcastically remarked.

They're conversation was interrupted by Harry's voice. "Wait, I feel something." He said clutching Ginny's hand in his right hand and with the left clutching his wand.

That's when Hermione felt it too. The ground had started shaking violently all of the sudden, catching them off guard and they all struggled to stay on their feet, all of them holding on to each other for support. The sky seemed to get darker. Out of absolutely nowhere, Dementors appeared. They all quickly pulled out their wands as at least twenty Dementors circled around them.

A slimy, gooey liquid poured down on Neville's shoulder and they all looked up to see a huge troll. They all went back to back with their partner and spells were shouted and sparks with various colors were sent off. They had to occasionally dodge the Troll's hit because they were all focusing on the Dementors. Hannah had been focusing too much on a Dementor that neared her as she struggled to shout her spell and the troll hit her. She was slammed into a tree.

"Hannah!" Neville cried out, forgetting everything and running towards her. He stood in front of her, fending of the Dementors tring to get near her. Hermione was shouting spells and walking back when she tripped in a rock.

She was dizzy for a second but then she gained back clear vision. She saw Harry in front of Ginny killing the Dementors. Obviously trying to protect her. Ron and Lavender were back to back. Neville was protecting an unconscious Hannah and Luna was fighting the Dementors alongside Rolf. Draco was looking around for Hermione. She stood up and ran towards him. "Lookout!" Ron yelled as the Troll grabbed Luna and Hermione when she was seconds away from grabbing Draco's arm. They screamed on top of their lungs and Draco with Rolf shot spells towards the troll. Eventually Draco had no choice but to use a killing curse. "AVADA KEDAVRA!" He yelled and the Troll dropped Hermione and Luna. Draco and Rilf ran to catch them but were stopped by Dementors. Luna landed on the floor while Hermione landed on bushes, getting millions of scratched. She staggered out of the bush and noticed the Dementors were gone and the Troll was dead on the floor. Rolf was checkif if Luna was okay, Neville was kneeling next to Hannah stroking her hair and Ginny was helping Harry up and Ron was comforting Lavender. Draco ran to her and kneeled over her.

"Thank god you're alive." He said pressing his lips against hers lightly. He lifted her up bridal style and Neville was carrying Hannah the same way. Rolf stood up with Luna's arm o er his shoulder and helping her walk. Ginny was standing next to Harry and Lavender next to Ron. Overall they were all dirty with bruises and scratches. They made their way back to Hogwarts as a group and Into the hospital wing. All of them layed down in ten different beds. Two beds per cubicle. Madam Pomfrey was shocked and immediately intended everyone one by one. Why were they attacked by a Troll and dozens of Dementors?
