At The Hospital

        Draco coughed as he sat there and the smoke consumed him. The whole class had evacuated and Draco stood up and kept coughing. His eyes watered. He then remembered Hermione and looked back and spotted Hermione knocked out and ran over to pick her up bridal style. He stumbled through the smoke, coughing more and more and his eyes watering even more. He finally found his way through and stepped out of the classroom. Everyone crowded around him and  an unconscious Hermione. He walked to the Hospital Wing and set her on the bed and Madam Pomfrey rushed in. Draco brought his arm to his mouth and coughed more and struggled to breathe.

            Draco's vision became blurry and he passed out and the last thing he heard was "Draco!" coming from Madam Pomfrey.

            Hermione fluttered her eyes open. Her vision was blurry and she blinked several more times. When it became clear she saw Harry, Ron and Ginny. Her head started hurting and she felt around her forehead and felt....stitches?!She groaned and sat up. She expected them to notice that she had awakened but then she realized that they were all fast asleep.

                  She sighed and at once Ron woke up. "Hermione!" He yelled and hugged her tight. Harry and Ginny awoke slowly. "You're finally awake!" Ron exclaimed. "How long have I been out?" Hermione asked as Ginny hugged her and Harry stretched.

                 "About four days. Me, Harry and Ron took turns being with you but then Madam Pomfrey let all three of us stay just this one night." Hermione let out a smile. "You guys are sweet." And they all hugged her. It occurred to Hermione she had no idea what had happened. "What happened?" She asked as they let go of her.

          "During Charms class, we were making potions until Malfoy started putting random ingredients and well, he blew it up." Ron said glaring at Draco who was sleeping in the bed next to Hermione.

                    "The cauldron blew up and you hit the wall and hurt your head. Malfoy picked you up and
carried you to the Hospital Wing and then fainted because of inhaling too much smoke." Harry finished off.

                     "Why would Malfoy help me?" They shrugged and Ron and Ginny looked at the clock. "We have to go. Love you Hermione." Ginny said and left with Ron. "What about you Harry"

                    "Well I have nothing else to do so I guess I'll stay here a while." Hermione smiled and Harry smiled too. A while later Blaise and Goyle busted through the doors very loudly and Harry glared at them as they made their way to Draco's bed and he woke up. "You okay?" asked Blaise. "Yes I'm okay." Goyle then glared at Hermione and took out his wand. "You'll pay." Harry stood up taking his wand out. "Not on my watch."

                         He growled. Goyle then looked at Hermione. "You'll pay later I swear." He growled and looked at Draco who looked very angry at Goyle. Hermione was terrified and Harry noticed. "Don't worry 'Mione. You have Ron and I to protect you." Hermione hugged Harry. "Thank you Harry." Just then Madam Pomfrey came."Out you scoundrels!" She yelled at Blaise and Goyle and they made a run for it.

                        She turned to Harry. "Sweetie sorry but you have to leave." She said with a sweet voice. Harry kissed Hermione's forehead but not in a romantic way. Only a kiss deep friendship would understand. "I'll come back tomorrow." He whispered and left. "You two have to stay here this night because you both aren't fully healed." She mumbled and she disappeared.

                      A night with Draco.  "Great." Hermione sighed. "I hate you Granger." Draco said with a cold voice. "Oh Malfoy, I love you too." Hermione said with a sweet, sarcastic voice.
