you say bye to your older brother as he tries to interrogate you, luckily You were able to get Niki to distract him by calling him on Discord.

you quickly exit the apartment and jogging down the hall to the elevator, Matt should be here soon.

you stand there awkwardly waiting (not so) patiently for the elevator to come up, you've always played this game where you guess which door would open, left elevator or right elevator. you guessed left door

as it opens the door on the right side you scoff in annoyance.

you've only gone on one date before but it wasn't a proper 'date' it was just a close guy friend taking you for dinner.

you hop into the elevator pressing the ground floor and shift so that people would be able to have room to press the button without being to close for comfort. you were basically in the corner.

you stand there uncomfortably tapping your finger nails on the back of your phone, same beat as the  music in the box you were going down in.

the elevator dings and you hop out just when your phone vibrates and you see it was a text from Matt

you jog to the front entrance of the building to see what you assume is  Matt sitting in the driver seat at the front of a Gray car scrolling on his phone.

A/N: (i'm not from the UK so if don't know what cars they have, i also don't know shit about cars(other than it's a great movie))

you knock on the window startling him but rolling down the window.

"hey, Matt right?" you ask just making sure your not getting into a strangers car.

"Yeah! Y/N, right?" he asks making sure he's not letting a stranger in his car.

you nod as he unlocks the door.

you hop in and buckle your seatbelt.

the car ride was nice as Matt made small talk asking things such as

"what's your favourite colour?"

"hmm definitely f/c, what's yours?"

"ooh probably red and green"

this man is literally ranboo, i rest my case

you two talked about random subjects until you arrived to your destination: a park.

he unbuckles and quickly rushes over to open your door. while you unbuckle your own seatbelt.
(what a gentle man)

the 6"6 male brings you to the top of a fairly large hill where there was a picnic set up.

both of you sit down while he pulls out two drinks for the two of you, yours was a monster and his was a peace tea.

he passed you your drink as he opened his own and took a sip

you opened your own drink and also took a sip feeling the bubbly and sweet drink go down your throat already feeling energetic after one sip

you two sat in a comfortable silence just enjoying each other's company while listening to the birds tweeting, the kids playing at the playground quite some feet away, and an ice cream truck passing by.

you two sat there until Matt spoke up.

"i remember our conversation from last night and you telling me you watch ranboos stream."

"yeah i do! do you watch any twitch streamers?"

"i do! im a big fan of Tubbo, who's your favourite" he asked while turning his head to look at you.

"ooh, if my brother was here he would probably make me say him, but probably Niki Nihachu-"

your phone began to ring, you pull it out of your jean pocket for it to read

you could hear wilbur groan in annoyance

"fine have fun on your date"
