Part 3: no worries

"Thomas, is your brother? Like blood? Siblings? Family?"

"Yeah." She answered simply,

"Good to know." I shrug it off,

Definitely noted.

"Not to come off as rude or anything but I seen that other boy kiss you, are you two like, together?"

"Newt? yeah of course."

"Okay, cool."

Damn she's making this awkward for no reason.

"What about the other boys?" She sounds excited,

"Well I don't know, they're alright, there's Minho, cocky and sarcastic, Gally, well he's okay but he can be mean, he nearly gave me a concussion on my first day in the glade so I'd say you're doing pretty good so far."

This is too much talking for one day,

"You know what, why don't you go talk to some of them yourself , get to know them, yeah? Good, that's your assignment, now go."

She doesn't waste anymore time in talking to me luckily,

I could finally get some time to think, alone.

Or so I thought.

"Lost are we?" A voice speaks behind me causing heart rate to slightly spike,

"Fuck, Newt you scared me." I sigh,

"Language."

I laugh at his once again motherly behavior,

"Right, sorry." I correct myself,

"Thought you were supposed to be showing around the new greenie?" He speaks,

"Uh about that, she ran away."

He raises an eyebrow,

I keep a serious face, "yep, she hated me that much."

He quickly figures out that I was only joking,

"Funny."

"I know, thanks cutie."

I gently grab his face, smirking at him before giving him a quick kiss,

Before I could leave he pulls me in close by my waist for another, longer, more passionate kiss,

I allowed him to do so, kissing him back,

When we separate he puts his forehead against mine,

"I missed you." He whispers,

"I only walked away not even 30 minutes ago." I chuckle,

He gives me a serious but super adorable look,

"I missed you too." I smirk getting an idea, "aren't you supposed to be doing something?"

"Yeah, you." He responds in a very seductive voice,

I can't help but blush, "I think I like this side of you, you should show it to me more often."

"Yeah well that's going to have to wait." Another voice joins us,

"Oh come on greenie, we're just having a bit of fun, you should try it sometime."

I tease Thomas,
everyone knows he hates being called greenie,

"You had a task to do, simple enough." He points to me,

"And you mr. second in command, pretty sure Alby wouldn't just stand around hitting on y/n." He raises his voice slightly,

Newt goes to reply but I cut him off,

"Thomas what's wrong with you, I thought you were friends! All of us, we're supposed to be in this together, if this keeps going on we aren't ever getting out of the glade."

"He's just jealous y/n, forget about it." Newt scoffs,

In an instant, something I could never in a hundred years have seen coming, happens,

Thomas tackles newt.
