The men escorted us to our room,
They hadn't told us anything other than,
"Get some rest, you've got a big day tomorrow."
No idea what that meant.
They even gave us food, better than Frypans stew.
They rushed us to the bunks,
I was behind the rest of them, the other boys were following the man in front of us, another man strayed behind us,
Thomas was besides me, Newt was well ahead of us,
Thomas's hand brushed against mine for a moment but I quickly mine pulled away,
Not knowing if it was on purpose or not,
Either way he's been acting strange,
Well, strange is an understatement.

Once we had all gotten in the room,
They immediately shut the door behind us,
"I call top!" Winston proclaimed,
Minho jumps up first, "too slow."
Winston settles for the bottom bunk.
The other boys find a bunk to themselves,
I feel a tug at my hand,
"You okay love?"
I zoned out for a moment,
"Yeah, of course." I let out a soft sigh,
"Do you want to sleep with me?"
I smile and nod, "Yes please."

I climb up to the bunk Newt had picked,
Right above Thomas's bed.
The lights were shut off, besides a few small night lights,
I snuggle closer to him and he pulls a blanket over the both of us, also wrapping his arm around me, pulling me close.
He pulls my hair back gently,
He peppers my neck with soft kisses,
"I love you Newt." I whisper,
"I love you y/n, more than you could imagine."
I smile, finding the courage to finally sleep after leaving our once "home."
Best known as the glade.
