"kentrell all those damn people and your going to leave my child with somebody i don't know??" i heard my mom yell

i checked the time and it read 11:00am i groaned and got out of bed and made my way to the bathroom so i could brush my teeth and wash my face while i heard muffled voices.

this is the reason we moved back here. this is tiring sometimes i wish they would choose a more mature option and not yell.

ms linda's block party or cookout i'm not sure what it actually is but it's going to be at 6 but i would like to go at 8 when it gets dark because that's when it's actually fun.

"nene yelling at each other isn't going to resolve this problem" my dad said.
i only heard because i was walking out the bathroom.

"and i want to know when i'm going to be able to spend actual time with my daughter" he said.
i just kept walking to my room because i really don't care i closed my door so i can block them out.

but they were still to loud.

"kentrell i don't know i really don't you have to ask macei and be on her schedule." she said

"why do i have to be on a 13 year olds schedule?" kentrell asked

"kentrell we are barely even home half the time. i'm a business owner i have stuff to do" my mom said

"what does that have to do with macei?" he asked

"because this is really not my decision i'm my opinion macei is 13 she can decide so go to her room and ask her" my moms said

i wanted to scream i really didn't wanna be bothered.

"alright i will" he said and i heard foot steps coming closer and closer

"you got plans tonight?" he asked

"yeah block party i'm free tomorrow" i said nodding

"okay" he said

"mykels coming to this block party" dejah told me. she was now over my house just to stop by.

"i heard he's coming with mari but me and her don't talk we only talk when needed" i said

"why you making it seem like their dating?" dejah asked me while laughing

"it's obvious it's on everybody's story you just don't know people" i said

"i know people i just don't associate with them and i don't want to be known" dejah said
i just nodded.

"okay i'm going to go home i'm not even sure if i can go to the party" dejah said leaving

"alright bye" i said locking the door behind her.

"macei are you going anywhere before this party?" my mom asked coming out her room.

"no i'm staying home until 8" i said i really was hoping she wasn't about to make me go see my dad

"can you please drop something off at your dads hotel" she asked
