today was the day that i go out with my father but lucky for me that wasn't until 6 since it was a dinner. i do know that he is having a birthday party for his son at a big air bnb.

but i'm mostly happy for cheer to start back up me and mari do cheer together but i don't reallt have a problem with her but i guess she has one with me.

i'm mostly happy for new people to joking because it clearly seems like half the people in my friend group hate me. mirah has been acting different but i'll figure out what's wrong sooner or later.

"you excited for cheer to start back up on the 1st?" my mom asked

"yes" i said smiling extra hard

"i can tell , did you have fun at the block party?" she asked

"could've been better" i mumbled but loud enough for her to hear.

"will whatever happened just move on..enjoy the summer" she said.

i was now at the restaurant with my father it wasn't as awkward thankfully but i really had a lot on my mind and i wish i was less stressed.

"i heard you start cheer again" he said taking a bite of his food.

"yeah , i have mixed emotions" i said

"i don't know , just hoping we have good people joining our team and not bad ones" i said

"what do you mean by bad ones?" he asked laughing

"they fall on every flip" i said shaking my head.

"anyways what have you been up too" he said

"nothing really , trying to find stuff to do for summer." i said

"you coming to your brother's birthday party tomorrow?"  he said

"i guess" i mumbled

"you don't have to , i understand if your not comfortable but we have to break the ice. we're still your family" he said.
which was true so i couldn't argue.

"and i'm sorry for not being there for you i really don't want to have that conversation yet" he said

"well i mean you already have my full attention now and i've been waiting for a conversation so maybe it's best if you say why now." i said hoping that he wouldn't take it the wrong way.

he looked at me for a bit.

"i was young and i thought about my self half of the time. and i knew i was to young to have kids but i thought i was tough and could do it and that's when me and your mom got into arguements and i really could never face her i always felt like she put stuff in your head to make you hate me" he said

"i understand...but you guys had kacey." i said

"that's for your mother to explain" he said to me

i nodded.

we were all home watching a movie while eating pop corn. for once i felt like we were completed family.
the movie was interrupted by my dads phone ringing. my dad quickly got up.

"i got to go" he said leaving out.

i just stared at the door after he left.

"ok..well i'm going to go in my room" i said standing up

"oh macei tomorrow you have to got to practice coach trell wants to use you as a example for the new members" my mom said

"and what about dracos party?"i said

"you will just be a little late" she said shrugging

"alright" i said going in my room.

as soon as i was getting ready to fall alseep my phone rings.
it was mirah calling.

"hey" she said as i answered

"hey" i said

"you okay? i haven't seen you outside all day which was odd" she said

"oh yeah i'm fine i was out for a bit with my dad. what are you doing at the moment?" i asked

"i'm with mykel" she said with hesitation

"okay have fun, also are you trying out for dance or cheer?" i asked

"cheer tryouts are over sadly so i try out for dance tomorrow." she said

"okay, i'll call you tomorrow" i said hanging up.

atleast i can bounce right back with some people but it's always been so difficult for me and mykel.

i'm trying to update this book as much as i can. but if this book is short it's fine because i am planning a sequel.
