the days were just passing by faster & faster
august 30th would be here in no time.
but i didn't know if i was more happy or sad about that.

i want to get closer to my dads side of the family life in new york is not it right now at all.

i start packing on the 20th of august im packing a lot   even though it's just the first semester of school and i'll most likely be back in january.

i want to spend my birthday, christmas & new years with my dad.
 
i haven't heard from mirah, dejah or mykel.

i've had occasional conversations with kam & im always talking to hailey as if i've known her for years.

i'll be gone for 4-5 months but i'm taking this as more of a mental break

i've been face timing my dad a lot asking me questions on food & snacks i like and room decorations because he'll be a full time dad with me living there.

at this rate there is no turning back he genuinely seems happy with me coming over there and i just can't disappoint him and all my other family that can't wait to meet me.

"macei, don't be mad if you come back and see your room is my walk in closet" my mom said jokingly

"nah you can't do that im going to be back here before you have anytime to do anything" i said laughing

"alright girl, but you know i think it's time we move into a better apartment no where far probably something that's like 5 minutes away from here" my mom said changing the topic

"i think so too, we growing out of this apartment it's too small now" i said

"yeah that's going to be my mission while you're gone so u might not be coming back to this same apartment" she replied

"okay don't be moving to louisiana or something now" i said

"girl that's not for me anymore we staying right here in brooklyn" she said
