"Akane-kun. What are you doing? You've been smiling on your phone for awhile now." Nene asked, trying not to squeal that Akane was talking to someone that made him smile.
The boy shrug, his fingers tapping his screen. "Just a girl I met on Meowstagram. Not really a big deal though."
So I was right. Nene quietly snickers, her mind went squealing and fan girling.
"Maybe I could set you two on a d-" Before Nene could finish her sentence, a ding sound was heard from her phone. Both eyes looked at the phone and Nene quickly opened her phone.

Nene raised a brow at this sudden message. Suspicion was growing in her but she replied nevertheless to see what's going to happen.

Nene expected that the unknown sender might reply in a few hours but they answered in seconds which surprised her a bit.

Nene giggled at this person's straightforwardness. She felt like she could give this person a chance. Nene wanted to make more friends anyway.

Cool! So I was thinking..
"Yashiro-san." Nene flinch at the stern and serious voice of Akane. She reluctantly look at him and wore a sheepish smile. Akane raised a brow at this.
"Who're you talking to?"
Nene averts eyes, trying to find the right answer. "A person I just met. Why?"
She was sure that Akane's right hand twitched. "Put that phone down. Now."
Almost, Nene wanted to ask why but because of his scary face. She quickly apologize and said goodbye to her new friend.
Silence filled in Akane's room, as they can only hear his mother's cooking downstairs for dinner.
It was an awkward silence they had in awhile.
"Why are you talking to strangers you just met?" Akane asks suddenly. Making Nene wanted to ask mutually but she didn't want him to look angry than he already was.
"W-we just formed a temporary friendship since they live in a town that's far away from us.. We were just bored is all." Nene clearly sweat dropped as she noticed that Akane's face was visibly twitching uncontrollably.
Why was he mad?
He's acting like a possessive boyfriend of hers when they're only best friends.
"Look." Nene flinch once again when Akane caress her face out of nowhere and neared his face into her ear. His hot breath tickling her ear.
"Don't ever make my heart clench when you smile on your phone. It makes me wanna break it and kill the person you've been chatting. Understood?" Nene gulped and shakily nodded which Akane smirked in return.
"Good."
And with that, Nene rushed out of the room. Not even knowing that Akane had asked permission to her parents that she'd sleep in his room tonight.
