"Hi Edwin" I answer his FaceTime call. I finally just got Kamryn down for sleep . "Hey , how's Kamryn" he ask "she's finally asleep , looks like she's missing school again tomorrow which I feel bad cause she only has 3 days left" I say "Friday is her last day?" He ask "yes she's super excited" I say "I think she's most excited to be able to stay up late every night now" I laugh "aww , that's what I loved" he says "yeah I can't really blame her"
I set my phone up against my makeup box on my vanity. "How are you feeling" he ask "I'm good just feeling bad for my baby" I say "hopefully she gets better soon" he says "she will , it's just a little cold but still sad" I say. "What did you do today" I ask "after I dropped the medicine off , the boys and I went to shoot a music video , it took forever" he says "for what song" I ask "Free" he says
"Love that" I smile "we still have to do a little bit more tomorrow but it's basically 98% finished" he says . I hear knock coming from his side of the phone "come in" he says "where the f*ck the new mic at" I think I hear Brandon "oh behind that chair" Edwin points and Brandon walks past but stops in the camera "oh hi Desiree" he waves making Edwin roll his eyes playfully and me wave back "hey" I say . Brandon winks at Edwin and i chuckle "get the mic and get out" Edwin says
Brandon grabs it "bye yall" Brandon exits the room
"Anyways" he says "mama" I hear and "oh no" i say "what's wrong" he ask "Kamryn is awake and I just got her to sleep" I stand up "Edwin I'll just call you tomorrow" I say "yeah I get it , talk tomorrow"I hang up then walk across the hall and into her room. "Kammy you need to be sleeping" I walk up to her "mommy I'm thirsty" she says "okay then you need to go back to sleep" I say "is sleeping all I can do"
I nod "yeah Prettymuch" I say and she giggles "what? Cause I said Prettymuch" I ask and she nods as she giggles and I smile "I'll get you some juice" I walk downstairs and get some more apple juice.
I take the Juice back upstairs and hand it to her so she can drink some "now it's back on the table , so you need to go back to sleep" I smile "okay"
she lays down and I kiss her forehead before walking back to my bedroom "mommy!" I hear her again . I walk back to her room "Kamryn" I say "can I sleep in your bed" she ask and I sigh "okay come on , bring your juice and blanket" I say and she smiles before grabbing those two things .
She follows me to my bedroom . "Lay down" I say and she does . I cover her with her blanket before laying down next to her "I love you and I'll see you in the morning" I tell her "I love you too mama"
2 days later) (7:30am) "Kamryn get your Bookbag ready" I shout so she could hear me . She got better yesterday. Her stomach doesn't hurt , she's playing with her toys , she's back to her crazy little self. So she has school today and then tomorrow is her last day. Tomorrow is also the day I'm going to take her to the Prettymuch house. She's gonna freak out .
Literally she's gonna go crazy when she goes there
But I'm really starting to like Edwin and I wanna make sure he's okay with Kamryn before anything gets more serious and I also wanna make sure his friends are too and not just that they put on a show for the fans , I have to make sure they are actually good people which I believe they are. But while she's in school today I'm going over the house .
Edwin says they want me to come back over so why not. "Baby your pancakes are done" she comes downstairs as I place her place at her little table
She sits down "mhm I love these" she looks so cute
"Where are your shoes" I ask and she points at the door and I see her white shoes . "You wanna wear these ones" I ask and she nods with mouth full of pancakes making me smile at her "when you're done eating you can put them then we will go"

"Okay have good day , tomorrow is your last day so have fun these last 2 days" I kiss her cheek "I will , I'm gonna make another picture for you" she tells me "I can't wait to see it" I smile at her "I love you" I kiss her cheek "I love you too mommm" she holds the m "see you later sweetie" I watch her walk into the school before going back to my car. There's no way in hell I'm going to the Edwin's at 8 in the morning . I'm gonna go home , go back to sleep for a little bit , shower then go over .
- (noon) I knock on their front door , the door opens but it's not Edwin it's Zion "....Desiree right?" He ask "right" I say "well come on in" he says and I walk in to see Brandon , Maggie , and Nick on the couch "Heyy girl" Maggie wave "hi everyone" I say "you can sit" Brandon says and I sit down with Nick about a foot away from me "how are you" Maggie ask "I'm doing good , how are you guys"
I ask back . Everyone says good and stuff . "Edwin is upstairs if you wanna go see him" Nick says "Austin , Ansley and Theo should be here soon" Maggie adds "okay Imma go see Edwin now" I stand up "which room is his" I ask "I'll show you" Nick stands up and I follow him upstairs the last door to the left. "Thank you" I say and "welcome" he nods before walking back downstairs
I knock on Edwins door "come in" he yells and I open his door to see him laying on his back with his phone in his hands. "Oh hey , sorry I totally forgot you were coming around this time" he sits up "oh it's okay" I say "should I close it?" I ask and he nods. I close his door , this is making feel like something is going to happen which I do not want
"Here come sit" he says and I sit next to him on edge of the bed "how's your day" he ask and I can't help but smile "what?" He questions "you always ask me how my day is" I look at him "I care" he states "well my day was good , I dropped Kam off at school today then went home did what I had to do and now I'm here" I say "how was your day" I ask "it was good , actually relaxing" he says "we had no meetings today , no interviews , no studio time" he adds "I been chilling all day long"
I chuckle "how's Kamryn feeling" he ask "a lot better , thank gosh" I tell him "plus tomorrow is her last day" I add "I bet she's super excited" he lays back on his bed "she is" I look back at him as he looks up at the ceiling . I lay back next to him with us side to side both looking up. "So I'm bringing Kamryn over tomorrow" I say and he looks at me "really?" He says "yeah" I look at him and say
"Does she know she's coming here" he ask "no I'm just gonna bring her" I say and he nods "she's gonna be shocked" he says "yeah I know" I giggle
"When you bring her over what are you introducing all of us as" he ask "my friends" I say "me too?" He ask and I bite my lip "what would you like me to introduce you as?" I ask "I was just asking" he says
"What are you to me?" I ask "like you said your friend" he says "what do you wanna me to be" I ask and he turns onto his side "more than a friend" he looks at me "you didn't forget I had a daughter right?" I ask "how could I forget" he ask "so that doesn't change your mind" I ask and he shakes his head slowly "no" he says and I smile "well that sounds crazy" I tell him "no it doesn't" he says
"Just say we do become more than friends , I'm not saying you have to be a dad , I'm not saying that at all but if we do become serious you're going to be around my daughter a lot and she's a lot" I say "As her mother her happiness means more than anyone's and if she doesn't like you as more than my friend your gonna have to go" I tell him
"And it should be like that" he says "I do understand what I will be getting myself into but that's on me" he says "we been talking for almost 3 weeks now I'm not saying that means we need to speed into a relationship but if you do Wanna also be more than friends I think meeting your daughter and I mean officially not a meet and greet" he says
"and getting to know her as not just Edwin from Prettymuch" he says and I smile "your really sweet" I say "for now tomorrow you guys will be my friends as time goes on and our relationship maybe changes I can tell her a little more" I state "because I do have to make sure you're good with my daughter before letting you in a little more" I explain "you really are a great mom" he says "I try"
We both smile at each other before he slowly leans in and he presses his lips against mine and I don't hesitate to kiss back . That is before his door opens causing us to jump up and look at the door "oh my bad" Zion says and closes the door before popping back in "that's my man" Zion points at Edwin
"Zion" Edwin shakes his head "what did you need" he ask "a lighter" he says causing Edwin to go in his coat pocket and hand Zion the lighter "thanks , I'll leave you two alone now" he walks out "sorry about that" he says "no it's okay" I shrug my shoulders "why don't we just watch something on Netflix or Hulu" he says "yeah but don't let me fall asleep I don't wanna be late to pick Kamryn up"
