"I love you" Edwin says making my jaw drop . He's so drunk he's speaking crazy. I decide to just ignore him and close my eyes. He doesn't know what he's saying , or well I hope he doesn't .
(Brandon) (the next morning) [10:11] "Brandon" I hear a whisper . I open my eyes and look up to see Kamryn "hey good morning" I say and put my glasses on "It's morning time" she says and I see Maggie sit up out the corner of my eye "hi Kamryn" she says "Hii" Kamryn says "why don't we go wake Nick and Zion up" I suggest "Oouu yeah" she says making maggie and I get up
(Desiree) I wake up with the one part I didn't miss about being drunk ..... the hangover , the headache. I fully open my eyes to see Edwin laying next to me with one hand on my thigh . I know we didn't do anything but one thing I do is that he told me he loved me right before we went to sleep. I kinda hope he doesn't remember that part. I didn't say it back . I don't know how I feel about saying it back. I mean are we moving to fast or am I trippin.
Edwin starts to move making me smile at him.
I scoot closer to him and start running my hand down his chest . I see a smile appear on his face . "Good morning" I whisper and he wraps his arms around me "good morning" he mumbles "the headache is real" he says and I giggle "I know" I whine "do you remember last night" he says "most of it" I laugh "feel you on that one" he says
"I don't wanna get up but I have to get Kam" I say "it's only ...... 10:30 am" he says "I guess another hour or two can do" I say "yes ma'am it can" he kisses my shoulder a couple times before I close my eyes and fall asleep in his arms.
(Nick) Zion , Brandon , Kamryn and I are currently in the kitchen as she eats waffles "I wonder what my mommy and Edwin are doing" Kamryn questions "sleep" I chuckle and tell her "what did they do last night" she says "I seen a bunch of drinks Edwin brought over" She says "they were drinking adult juice" Zion says and we look at him "wow good save" Brandon says "adult juice?" Kamryn ask "so I can't have any" she says
"Right" Zion says "Oh" she says as she takes a bite of her food "so you like Edwin?" I ask her "yeah" she smiles "aww" Brandon says "like as your mamas boyfriend" Zion ask "he's not her boyfriend yet" she says "but I hope he does" she says
"Edwin , a dad" I say "mommy said he's not my dad" she says and we look at each other not knowing what to say "but he can be like your dad" Zion says and Kamryn looks at him "he's gonna care about you and probably love you like a dad should" zion adds "I think he loves your mom too , meaning he is gonna love you , he's gonna be like your dad , you don't have to call him that but he's gonna try be the closest thing to a father for you"
Zion tells her and we look at him "and we are not just your favorite band Prettymuch anymore , we care about you too and your mom . We are happy that she makes Edwin happy and that Edwin can make you and your mom happy" he says "you and your mom are now added to our like family , just like Maggie , Ansley and Theo were added when they came into this" Zion adds more "I know I might not show the most care for this whole situation, but I do care a lot" Zion smiles at her
We stare at Zion in just shock . Kamryn gets up before running over and hugging Zions legs "wow" I whisper to Brandon "I'm gonna go play with my dolls now" Kamryn says "you do you girl" Zion says as Kamryn runs upstairs to Edwins room which is where she slept at last night.
Zion looks at Brandon and I "man I didn't know you had that in you" Brandon says "that was so sweet , wow bro" I say "don't get used to it , I did it for her" he says "Can't wait to tell Desiree and Edwin bout this one" Brandon says "don't tell them , they gonna think kids are my thing now" Zion says "they still ain't your thing" I ask "I mean I guess but I ain't babysitting no kids" Zion replies
(Desiree) (12:30) Edwin and I pull up in front of the boys house . We get out and walk in "MOMMY" Kamryn yells and jumps into my arms . I pick her up and kiss her cheek multiple times "hi baby" I say and smile "I missed you" I say "I missed you too"
Kamryn hugs me "what about me?" Edwin ask "nope" Kamryn obviously jokes "wow Kam" Edwin says sarcastically "just kidding" Kamryn says and reaches for Edwin causing him to grab her from my arms and smile "well I missed you too"
He says "thank you boys" I say to Zion , Nick and Brandon "oh no problem, she's great" Nick says
"You won't believe mr Zion over here" Brandon says "oh here he go" Zion shakes his head
"What he do" I ask "I'm gonna go help her get her stuff" Edwin says and takes Kamryn upstairs.
"Anyways" Brandon tells me what Zion said to Kamryn earlier and I look at Zion . Zion just shakes his head "wow Zion" I say "yeah yeah I ain't babysitting" he says "that was real sweet of you to tell Kamryn that , I would have said the same thing"
I say "you might be a good dad one day" I say "woah woah Desiree, got a little to much dip om your chip" he says and I laugh "imma stick to simba" he adds "good choice" I say as Edwin and Kammy come down "ready to go" I ask and she nods "tell them bye" I say . She goes and hugs the 3 of them "bye" she says and they wave bye at Kamryn and us "thank you again boys"
(Nighttime) "where's Kamryn" I ask "her bed sleep" he says "sleeping" I question and he nods "you put her to sleep" I ask "she kept saying she was tired and you were in the shower so I did" he says "ugh you're the best" I lay next to him as he lays on my bed "so I've heard" he smirk "you know I still have a little headache" I tell him "well we did take like 6 shots in like 20 minutes plus those little fruit drinks" he says "crazy how I don't even remember a lot" he chuckles and I just stare
Him telling me that he loves me last night just keeps popping in and out my head . All day I been thinking about it . Do I say it back? Did he even mean it? Do I love him? I mean how could I not . He's treats me and my daughter great. He's so good with Kamryn . Hell what am I thinking ? Of course I love him too. Seems fast but you can't help when you fall inlove or who you fall inlove with.
When I tell him what he said I'll just say it back .
It will be perfect cause he won't have to worry about saying cause I'll say it back.
"Desiree Cannon" he says and I snap out my thoughts "huh" I say "damn what you thinking bout darling" he smiles "you" I say and he chuckles "good things?" He ask "I think so" I say "what do you mean" he ask and I take a deep breath "last night you told me something" I look up at the ceiling and say "what did I say" he ask and his arm wraps around my waist "you told me something"
Is all I say "yeah but what?" He says "Edwin" I say "did I say something bad or something" he ask
"No" I say "then tell me what I said Desiree" he tells me "Edwin you told me you loved me" I whisper and he doesn't say anything. I bite my lip waiting for a response "damn I was that drunk , that must of been my drunk self talking , sorry if I scared you with that" he says and that kinda hurt .
He doesn't love me , he was just drunk and said it.
"Oh" I say "lol I was talking stupid" he says "stupid" I question and sit up "yeah , what I said was just stupid cause I was drunk" he adds
"You know maybe you should go to your house and sleep there instead" I say "what why" he ask "just because" I say "Desiree whats wrong" he says "everything was just fine" he says "Edwin you need to go" I stand up "Desiree I'm not leaving" he says "this is my house and if I tell you to go then go" I demand and he stands up "I'm confused, darling what's happening" he says "Edwin please just leave" I ask "I don't understand" he says "go!" I say and he looks at me "now please" I ask
He grabs his things "I don't get why you are doing this" he says and walks to my door "what? is this it? Is this all over , what are you gonna tell Kamryn when she wakes up" he ask "don't worry about my daughter" I say "of course I'm gonna worry about her , I care about her" he says "Edwin I'm not gonna say it again , leave" I say one more time
He shakes his head "I don't know what the hell is wrong but I'll go and let you figure yourself out"
