(9:30 pm) "Kammy it's night night time" I turn to Kamryn as her , Edwin and I been sitting on the couch watching movies "mama nooooo" she whines "but it's bedtime" I say "Edwin help" she turns to him and says "Sorry Kam but I can't help you on this one" he says "can I go to sleep when the movie ends" she ask "fine that's in 15 minutes" I say and she gets real excited and looks at Edwin
"I can stay up for 15 more minutes" she says to him as she sits in the middle of us "good" he chuckles
"I'm gonna go clean the kitchen up and then when I'm done it will be 15 minutes" I kiss her cheek and say "deal" she says and I laugh before walking into the kitchen to clean up the dinner stuff
(Edwin) "so Kamryn whats your favorite color" I ask "purple" she answers "what's yours" she ask "all of them" I say and she giggles "you can't have all of them" she says "why not" I ask "one favorite color" she says "fine umm I like blue" I answer
"My mommy likes yellow" she says "my mom likes pink" I say "where is your mama" she ask "my mom is back at home where I'm from" I say "I talk to her all the time , not sure when I'm gonna see her next , maybe thanksgiving or Christmas" I add "cause the last time I did see her was last Christmas. The boys and I all went back home for Christmas to visit our families" I nod "we do basically everywhere since we don't see them any other time of the year" I say "but yeah I talked to her earlier" I look down at Kamryn sleeping
"Oh" I whisper as her head lays right on my arm. I smile before turning my head to the tv where her little princess movie plays .
(Desiree) I set the towel down before walking into the living room "Kamryn-" I get caught off by Edwin "shh" he says and I walk fully in to see Kamryn laying on Edwins arm . My heart basically melts . I smile at Edwin "I should take her up to her room" i whisper then I pick Kamryn up and slowly take her upstairs to her bedroom .
She has comfy clothes on , I'll just let her sleep in that. I tuck her in before kissing her cheek and walking out back downstairs to Edwin. I sit next to him as he looks at me "she really likes you Edwin" I say softly "and not just as Edwin from Prettymuch anymore" I say "I'm glad" he says . "Me too" I kiss his lips "I didn't forget that you told me your day wasn't good" he says "you went to your parents house for your dads birthday that's fun" he says
"It was fun the first half" I say "what happened" he ask . "Can we go to my room first" I ask "yeah show me the way" he says and he follows me upstairs into my bedroom. I sit on my bed "am I sleeping in here tonight?" He ask "yeah right next to me" I say "oh the bed" he smirks "don't get any ideas" I say and he sits next to me as the little lamp is turned on right next to me on my nightstand .
"Talk?" He says and I sigh "it was fun at first" I lean against the headboard. "Kamryn said something about ...... us" I tell him "my dad isn't to okay with it" I weak smile at him "he never has liked the fact of another man taking care of any child that is not his" I say "he feels if Kamryns father isn't in her life to take care of her then no man should be in her life along those lines" I add
"He got mad and walked right out the room" I mumble . I feel him place his hand on my knee "I'm sorry that happened" he says and he shrug my shoulders "it's fine" I say "is this the first time you moved on since her dad" he ask and I look at him before nodding "you been single for almost 7 years" he looks somewhat surprised
"Yeah , Kamryn will be 6 inna little over a month and last time I've had that type of love was her dad or anything in 7 years" we chuckle cause he obviously knows what I'm really talking about .
"One because my dad but also I really didn't even Wanna move on" I say "I was scared to let someone in and maybe still am" I state before looking at him
"You don't have to be now" he says and I sigh , I think I'm starting to get emotional "sometimes I can't help but be a little bit" I admit "You're the first I let in since then" I add "well I'm honored" he says and I giggle . "But Edwin this isn't gonna be easy" I say "you letting me in?" He ask "yes but you are coming into my life and Kams" I say "I know you're not her father but Edwin us becoming more then friends makes you pretty damn close to being her ....... father" I tell him and he kisses my cheek
"I know" he whispers into my ear before bringing his head up "trust me I know" he adds "but that doesn't matter to me , I wanna us to work and I want you" he says "You having Kamryn changes nothing , I care about you and your daughter" he nods at me "I really really do , she's the best" he says which makes my heart so so happy
"She likes you , I'm glad she does cause if she didn't you would've had to go" I say "I'm happy she does cause I like her , and I care about her a lot" he adds "Edwin" I whisper "you're gonna make me cry" I chuckle "just promise me you won't back out cause it's to late now" I nod "your stuck wit Kamryn and I now" I smile "and I love it" he grabs my hands "This is gonna be a lot , she never had a .... ummm" I don't wanna say father figure and freak him out "father figure?" He questions "can you read my mind" I ask "maybe a little" he jokes
"I mean I can be a stepdad" he says and I laugh "shut up" I giggle "I'm serious" he says . I wrap my arms around his neck "your the greatest" I kiss his cheek "Imma make you my girlfriend soon" he says "I can take you out on a nice date" he says "you don't have to , I don't need that , just me and you doesn't matter where" I say "we can be on my couch or in my car and you can ask me then I still say yes" I smile "but you deserve to be asked right"
I shake my head "you said it not me" I shrug my shoulders "we can get drunk one night" I say and chuckles "I can't even tell you the last time I been drunk" I weak smile "hell we both over 21 , one of these nights we can" he says "we should go to sleep" I tilt my head "I can finally see if you are good cuddle Buddy" I lay down as I'm already in pjs "oh trust me I am" he says and he lays by me
He wraps my arms around me as I lay my head on his chest . A couple minutes go last "so am I good" he ask "the best" I giggle before he kisses my forehead "goodnight Darling" He says and I snuggle into him more "goodnight Edwin"
