"I missed you toots, you never visit me though" I hugged Amira
"Aunty J, I can't breath" She laughed
"I'm sorry, but I missed you soooo much"
"Can I see Niala ?"
"Yeah, we all supposed to be going over to papa house tonight"
"Can I hold her when we get there ?"
"Yep, if she's not sleeping"
"Okay"
"Janelle I'm gone" I yelled
"Alright"
"Can you lock the door after me ?" I asked Nick who was just coming in
"Aight" He turned back around
"I still don't like you" I shrugged laughing
"Feelings mutual lil nappy" He laughed
"Shut up" I walked out the door
I got in my car and started it up. Naila was over at Rakim's house, so I had to get her so we could go over to my father's house tomorrow. He was having some dinner and he wanted all of us to come over, including his kids.
When I made it over to Rakim's house, I knew he had people were here by how many cars. I parked infront of his door and hopped out my car. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to come answer it. If I was in a pissy mood, I would've just walked in but I don't wanna be disrespectful.
"Wassup Sis ?" Twelvy greeted me opening the door
"Hey, where Nai ?" I asked walking inside
"In the living room with everyone else"
I walked to the living room and sure enough, everyone was here. Naila was on the floor and I'm guessing they were betting on who could get her to crawl to them. A few days ago, she started crawling but it was a surprised moment when she did it.
I had a dollar on the floor and I left it there saying I would pick it up later. When I walked to get my phone, I saw out of the corner of my eye seeing Naila crawl over to the dollar. I was about to cry because she crawled for the first time. I wish she would stay this age forever.
"Uncle Ferg got a dollar" Ferg waved the dollar
"Uncle Bari got five dollars" Bari pulled out a 5 dollar bill
"Daddy got a hundred, come over here" Rakim said as he held up the hundred
I guess they didn't know I was behind them, so when Naila crawled towards me they were confused.
"And her mother gave her life, so I win" I smiled picking her up
"Jezel, why you cheat ?" Bari sucked his teeth
"Technically I didn't since I didn't know what y'all were doing"
"Alright, sit her down again"
I sat her down and watched her crawl over to Rakim who waved the money her way. He picked her up and started laughing.
