Chapter 12: Team battle(1)

Before the event starts we have a little meeting with our student,

- I hope you all understand what's at stake here? I ask them.

- Basically if we don't win this event, starts Giyu, Ojiro's execution might be renewed.

- Don't worry, we are going to win this event, says pissed Ryu, as long as you let me handle that jerk-bastard Shinji, mark my word..., I will have my revenge.

He is still mad about that?!? That happened many moths ago, he sure holds grudges against people for a long time,

- Come on Ryu..., you know we have to stick to the plan if we want to win.

- Regarding the game there's something I need to tell you...

I decide to tell them everything, from when Mira was sent to another mission last minute to what it will mean if we lose this exchange event,

- ..., all that said Ojiro's fate is in your hand.

They are all freaking out after hearing about the scheme of the higher-ups, I think I should cheer them up,

- uhm..., but I do trust every last one of you, I thought you everything I could, go out there do what you can or something....

I think those were some wise words and they should be motivated or something,

- uhm..., Fushiguro-senpai you're not really good at pep talk, says Ojiro, but thanks anyways.

Man..., I thought my speech was really good, but I guess Nobara was right I shouldn't try that kind of things. But I still do trust them, they won't go down that easily.

After our little meeting, I leave them to their preparation, I think they can win this exchange event, they have a solid plan, but even the best plans can crumble under some circumstances, their opponents are just so damn goo...d, especially their 3rd year they are just a bunch of monster, I hope they won't break under the pressure especially since Kuroo is a part of the team, he can be really pessimistic sometimes and that might affect the others too. At this point the only thing I can do is to go in that watching room and watch the event from the side line and hope that they can make it.

when I reach the room everyone is their seats waiting for the event to start, wait a second..., what the hell is Gojo doing there, I guess he came make fun of everyone in the room just like he always do(that guy sure has a punchable face), but he is not the only one there's also some other old guys that were at the meeting for the execution of Ojiro. They might be controlling kyoto jujutsu tech from the shadow, I have to be careful,

- Oh..., Fushiguro how are you doing?!? Starts Gojo.

- I'm fine!

- you are as antisocial as always.

I ignore him, and seat near Todo just by looking at his face I can tell that he has a lot of things to say, he's always such a pain,

- hey man..., are you ready to see my student win?!? they are going to obliterate those looser of yours, fair and square! Ahaha...

- sure...

- what kind of teacher are you? Asks gojo, you wont even defend your student.

- they don't need me to defend themseves.

Even if I'm saying that, I'm kinda worried our team pales in comparisons to theirs, on the screen both teams are ready to start the battles, Todo takes the mic to announce the beginning or so I thought before he starts talking,

- So...the excahnge event will kick off in few seconds, it brings back so many memories with my best friend Yuji, huh...

It's always creepy to see a man crying, it is evn more creepy for a man of tge stature of Todo, I kinda feel sorry for his students who have to endure that on a daily basis,

- Go out there and obliterate them, don't leave a single one of them standing!

That's some biased commentary over there. I hope they wont discouraged by that. Finally Togo gives the signal to start, the team start moving, they stick to the plan, they are moving together for now, scouting for the curses with Kuroo and Anko it should be easy, but on the other hand kyoto's student scattered from the get go, I wonder what they have in mind.

Thanks to Kuroo's karasu, they find the first curse pretty fast, but when they get to the place where the curse was, it has already been exorcised, thanks to Anko's technique they determine which direction the person who exorcised it took, Ryu follows the plan and go after the person who exorcised the curse, they are fast they have already exorcised a curse in such short period of time, they might have someone who is good at scouting.

The rest of them continue to look for the rest of the curses in the area, soon they meet Shinji Manami, this is bad!

- Ojiro Shimada, finally I found you...

He found them way too fast, something is going on here, but this is also they have been waiting for,

- Release cursed technique: Raging flames!

Shinji unleashes his flames on them as expected, we have on our team someone who can counter that perfectly,

- Reversed cursed technique: Perfect balance!

Thanks to his technique, Giyu extinguish all of the flames in the blink of an eye( Giyu's technic allows him to shut down any other other technique, by unleashing a quantity of cursed energy equal to that of his opponent the turn all of it into positive energy).

Giyu's technique is really useful thanks to that they will be able to hold Shinji for a while but not for long, that's why the rest of them scatter, going after the curses. But it's one problem after the other, just as they are moving away from where Shiji and Giyu are fighting there are arrows covered in cursed energy that are falling from the sky aiming at each of them even if they have taken different path, I know who was attacking them, it's Miyo Kamo, that girl sure is one of the best when it comes to long distance fighting, but more than that, how was she able to locate every last one of them that fast,

- All this is thanks to our little Ginjima, starts Todo, he has the ability to share his thought with anyone who has a certain amount of cursed energy, it's cool right and so usefull especially in battles like this!

Why is he sharing all this information with me, is he a moron or what? But he is right an ability like that can turn things around, their priority should be to take down that Ginjima as fast as they can.
