Cassandra Varian and Ulla are all sitting around the living room around 11 pm at night. (Also this takes place 4 years later than the majority of the ones I make)
Cassandra – I can't believe you turned fourteen this year....
Amber – Right! Me neither. But time passes and there's nothing you can do.... Yet!
Varian – Yeah, anyway. Today was fun, but I think it's time for bed.
Ulla - *sad* Aww.... Alright. Come on Ruddiger, let's go put on our pajamas. (OMG ULLA'S 11!!!! NO!!!! SHE'S 7 IN MY HEART!!!!! SHE WILL NEVER GROW UP!!!!!)
Ulla and Ruddiger both left.
Amber – I should probably get ready for bed too.
Amber started walking away. Cassandra grabbed Amber's wrist making her stop.
Cassandra – Wait! We have one more present for you.
Amber – What?
Varian looked at his wife.
Varian – Are you sure?
Cassandra nodded.
Amber a bit suspicious sat down on the couch next to her parents.
Cassandra stood up and brought over a nice little box, covered in wrapping paper.
Amber grabbed the box and opened it.
Inside was this crystal-like compound. It was a bright orange amber color.
Amber – What is this?
Varian – It's a piece of Amber.
Amber – Thanks? I l-love it.
Cassandra – No, that's not the whole gift.... You've always asked how you got your name.
Varian – And I think you're old enough for us to tell you.
Amber – What? You waited till I was 14.
Varian – Well.... That's how old I was when it happened.
Amber – I'm confused...
Varian – You see... when I was your age, I was JUST like you.
Cassandra - You know, curious, a science dork. And unlike you had a giant crush on me... I was in my twenties. *Laughs*
Amber joins in the laugh
Varian – Moving on! But you see.... Something happened in old Corona.
Amber – That's where you grew up, right?
Varian – That's right. You see... these rocks started showing up in my village.
Amber – That's not that bad.
Cassandra – Me and Rapunzel may have had something to do with it.
Amber looked over at her mom confused.
Varian – We will spare the details and get into those another time. You see, I had already met Cassie, and Rapunzel at this time.
Amber – Did you already have a crush on her?
Varian – No
Cassandra – Yes.
Amber - *giggles*
