Jack groaned when his alarm clock went off.

It was time to wake up for class.

"Turn off the alarm!" Evan said.

Jack slammed his hand onto the alarm.

He groaned again as he sat up. He glanced at Evan, who had his back to him.

"I'll wake you up when I'm done getting ready," Jack said.

"Okay."

Jack went into the bathroom. He brushed his teeth and fixed his hair.

He walked out of the bathroom and took out a pair of jeans and a t shirt.

He went back in and changed and woke up Evan once he was done.

Jack packed his school backpack and finished up just as Evan was finishing getting ready. The two went to get a quick breakfast and headed to class.

Jack had a cup of coffee in hand as they walked into their classroom.

The two were talking about a movie that they'll be playing at the Sky Deck that night and making plans to go watch it.

"Hi, boys," Miss. Tutweiller, their teacher greeted them.

"Hi, Miss. Tutweiller," Jack said.

"Hello, Miss. Tutweiller."

"How are you two?" she asked.

"Alright," Jack shrugged.

"Good," Evan smiled.

The two took their seats.

"How was your week?" Jack asked.

Evan gave Jack a look.

"What?" he said, quietly to Evan.

"It was alright, I guess," Miss. Tutweiller shrugged.

"Oh, no," Jack said, pretending to be sympathetic. "What happened?"

He truthfully didn't want to know what had happened, but he was willing to do anything for her to like him and give him good grades. It has worked in the past with his teachers back when he attended Tribecca Prep back in New York and it's been working on Miss. Tutweiller and his other teachers at Seven Seas High so far.

"I had a horrible date," Miss. Tutweiller said, annoyed and sad over another failed date.

"Oh, no," Jack said.

"Yeah," Miss. Tutweiller said, sadly.

"He was probably intimidated by you," Jack said, "because you are great and he didn't know what to do."

"Oh," she said, getting slightly giggly, "thank you, Jack."

"What are you doing?" Evan whispered.
