We turned our attention to the voice. It was a black and white bear. He was standing on what looked to be a stage.

"Hello, everyone! I am Monokuma! I assume you saw the door, so here's your explanation! Yes! You are in a killing game!" He laughed.
"What?!" Asa backed up a little.
"This has to be some sick joke," Arisa shook her head.
"I just said it's not! It's for real!" Monokuma shook his fist, "Now then, the rules are simple, you have to kill someone to leave! But, you can only kill 2 people, if you wish to! You each get a Mono-Pad with your designated room number, a map of the arena, any motive that is announced, and additional rules! I can add any rules if I see fit!"
"You can add rules?" Ayu asked.
"Are we allowed to file fucking restraining orders?!" Kaz asked angrily, shoving Zenshiro away from her.
"Umm, no," Monokuma replied hastily, "And yes, I can add rules if I want! Can you not understand me? Now then, you will each get your Mono-Pads and you will be on your way!"

As he finished speaking, one of his Mono-Pads landed in each of our hands. I turned mine on. It had my name, then it showed a few buttons, Student Profiles, Map, Rules, Truth Bullets, Motives, and Inventory. I pressed on the rules button. There were additional rules.

Rule 1: The Kitchen and Common Areas will
be locked after 11PM every night!
Rule 2: No assaulting Monokuma or you will face punishment!
Rule 3: If you kill another participant (and get away with it successfully) then you will walk free!
Rule 4: You cannot sleep outside of a dorm room, but it is perfectly allowed to share a room with another participant!
Rule 5: Morning Time starts at 7:00AM, Night Time begins at 9:00PM!
Rule 6: Monokuma can add any additional rules if he sees it as fit!

Yeesh. These were kind of strict. But, what does he mean by punishment? As I was about to ask him, I looked up and he was gone. Strange. I looked around at the others. They seemed to have gone quiet. This was really real, wasn't it. Koki cleared his throat.

"I suggest we all look for our dorm rooms, does everyone have their assigned room number on their pad?" Koki announced.

We all confirmed we did and we were on our way. We all walked down a hallway, finding rooms along the way. We each stopped at a few rooms, as they were assigned to us. I found mine. Room 9. I tried to figure out how to unlock it, when I heard talking near me.

"Is it possible to get a different room?" Kaz was leaning against her door, irritated.
"How bad can it be to have a room next to mine, sweetheart," He wrapped his arms around Kaz and tried to kiss her.
Kaz threw him off of her, "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME."
"You'll come around eventually," He laughed a little and went into his room.
Kaz pushed the wall, "I FUCKING HATE HIM."
"That's a bit of a big step there, don't ya think?" Seiko asked, confused.
"I mean, he could just be nervous, and coping, maybe?" Rokuro suggested.
"Well he can get the fuck away from me and "cope" with someone else." Kaz went into her room.
"Well they get along well," Shichiro sarcastically said, going into his room.

I went to my room. There was a bit of peace. But still, Kaz's room was next to mine, and next to hers was Zenshiro. This might not go over well for any of us.

About half an hour had passed and I decided to go and see if anyone was out to talk. There was a few people out of their rooms as well. Kunihiko, Daisuke, Asa, Rokuro and Kaz. I decided to talk to Daisuke first. I walked over to him.

"Hey, Mamoru! What's up?" He waved as I arrived next to him.
"Hi, Daisuke," I waved back, "Nothing's up, I just wanted to talk, maybe," I laughed a little.
"Oh! That's alright! What do you want to talk about?" He asked, leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets.
"Hmm, I'm not exactly sure. You said you're a sailor right?" I asked.
"Oh, yeah! Do you wanna know about some knots?" He pushed himself off the wall excitedly and reached in his pocket, he took out some rope.
"Woah, that actually does sound interesting," I nodded.
