STACEY WAS ALMOST IN A STATE OF DEPRESSION AT THIS POINT. After her date with Eric a few weeks ago, he went on a date with Heather, leaving Stacey crying. She hadn't found out until yesterday, meaning she was in her room all day.

On the other hand, Elizabeth was fuming. She's known Eric for as long as she could remember, and ever since he started going out with girls, they're all he thinks about. What he didn't know was that it really hurt some of them, how he would go on one date with them, and then go on another with a completely different girl the next Saturday.

Elizabeth knew that Eric was a nice guy and that he would never inflict any pain on other people, but hurting her sister was another level. When Elizabeth first found out that he had broken her poor sister's heart, she was on her way to Cory's house to talk some sense into him, but Stacey begged the tween to not do anything, knowing she'd go all out.

Eventually Liz agreed, but that doesn't mean she wasn't still mad. All she wanted to do was at least hit him. Just a hit. But she promised her sister that she wouldn't do anything stupid, and Elizabeth Chase always keeps her promises.

Elizabeth sat with her usual friends at lunch, except there was another one of Shawn and Cory's friend sitting with them. She didn't really care. He seemed cool.

"Say you could pick any superhero to be your dad," Cory started, "Who would you choose?" he asked all of them.

"Batman. No question," Ellis answered, "Live in a cool cave, borrow the bat mobile."
