**QUICK NOTE**
This is where I introduce my 3 clones I created. My brief idea of their looks is, Sans has hair like Trace's from season 7 of the clone wars, but not as long. It's shaved on the sides and curly on the top. Hex has darker hair than the rest of the clones, it's black instead of brown, but the normal clone cut. And Steele has a scar that runs from the bottom of his left ear to the front of his neck.
Also, this probably is a long chapter for me, so I might not always have this much (most likely I will write less)"I assume your mission was a success?" You looked up from your desk as your former master entered the room. You smiled a greeting before responding.
"Yeah, it was pretty easy. Anakin of course gave me the harder part."
"Well, his Padawan wasn't there to do it, so he had to find someone else to give it to," Codo joked. The Mon Calamari stood by your side and looked down at your data pad.
"More royal duties, I presume?"
"Yeah. Kwol just can't stand to do any of the diplomatic things," you said rolling your eyes.
"Well, his strength was always with the military," Codo commented. He watched you for a second as you absentmindedly scrolled through the proposed treaty. "Something's on your mind," he concluded, resting a hand on your shoulder.
"It's nothing," you said, biting back the smile that threatened to show.
"Hmm, very well then, kept your secrets," Codo said playfully, turning to leave your room.
"Fiiiiiiine. I'll tell you," you sighed, turning in your chair to face him. He looked at you curiously as he sat in your lounge chair. You looked down and bit your tongue before speaking.
"One of Anakin's clones," you began, "he tried to be... charming."
"Not unlike your own commander Sans," Codo pointed out. You shook your head, still not meeting his gaze.
"No, there was something different about him."
"Oh? And what was this difference?"
"His charm has seemed to have worked on me," you said, finally looking at Codo. He chuckled slightly, to which you slightly furrowed your brows.
"You think it's funny?"
"I think it's ironic," he said. "You were always so dismissive to Sans's advances, and now this new clone has caught your attention."
"There's just something about him, Codo. When I first saw him, I felt something. It was weird," you explained.
"Well, perhaps meditating will help you clear your mind?"
"No, I think training would help me more," you said, jumping up and grabbing your lightsaber. Codo just laughed at your enthusiasm and led you down to the training rooms. You dueled each other for hours, only taking small breaks to quickly catch your breath or take a drink. You didn't train much like this anymore, not since the beginning of the war. You had become too busy with fighting in battles and leading troopers on missions, and rarely had time to see each other anymore. You yourself were slightly envious of Anakin and Kenobi. The former master and apprentice were lucky to get paired together often. You wished that were the case with you and Codo, but he much preferred avoiding the battlefield if he had the option. You, on the other hand, lived for action. That's what made you such a good fit for the 17th battalion. Those men were just as boisterous and craved action like you did.
"Alright, my little one," Codo said as you disarmed him again, "I think it's time that I retire to dinner." You wiped the sweat from your brow and you clipped your lightsaber onto your belt.
"Yeah, I worked up an appetite of my own," you said, following him out of the room and into the mess hall.
"General Jinn," your heard from behind you, causing you to bite your lip before turning to see a certain clone walking over to you.
"I heard I wasn't the only clone trying to get your attention," your commander said as he approached you.
"Yes. Unfortunately, Sans, you have some competition now," you said, grabbing a fry from his tray.
"Well then," he said walking with you to join the rest of the 17th, "I'll just have to try harder then, m'lady." He set his tray down and bowed dramatically to you, to which you smacked the back of his head playfully.
"You joining us for dinner tonight, General?" Your Captain asked, sitting across from you.
"I guess I am, Hex."
"There she is, our General safely returned to us without any scratches." Your clone Major, Steele, sat down next to Hex and immediately began to dig into his food.
"Yup, I'm still in perfect condition," you said before laughing at his manners.
"Steele, don't you know how to act in front of royalty?" Sans joked before flicking food onto you.
"Hey!" You said, "watch it! You do NOT want to start a food fight with me."
"Oh, I don't?" Sans questioned, before picking up another piece of food. You narrowed your eyes at him and reached for a bowl before Hex cut you all off.
"Not today, guys. I'm enjoying the peacefulness for once."
"Aww, come on," Steele said, nudging his brother in the side, "wouldn't you love to see soup poured onto our beloved General Jinn?"
You quickly jumped up and pulled Sans in front of you as Steele tossed a bowl in your direction.
"Hey!" He said, looking down at the soup covering his clothes.
"Oops," you giggled from behind him. He suddenly turned around and pulled you into him, causing the liquid to seep into your own clothes. You quickly grabbed your own bowl of soup and threw it at Steele, who pick up his tray to use as a shield. Hex just rolled his eyes and kept eating his meal, determined not to let his brothers and General ruin his dinner. You didn't notice when Sans grabbed some of his noodles, so when he dropped a handful on your head, you let out a shocked gasp.
"Sans!" You yelled, grabbing a fist full of your own pasta and throwing it at him. Before long, the rest of the 17th had joined in, except for Hex who sat peacefully in the middle, eating and doing his best to ignore the chaos around him.
"I almost regret bringing y/n down here," Codo said to him as he walked by, just before you threw some pasta at the back of Codo's head, which made a really funny sound when it hit. You quickly covered your mouth as you laughed and ran to hide behind a table as your former master turned and threw fries in your direction. You decided that you had enough fun for the night, and giggled to yourself as you ran out of the room, immediately colliding with Obi Wan and knocking him to the ground.
"Sorry Obi Wan!" You managed to get out as you sat laughing on the floor.
"What is going on in there?" He said before offering you a hand to help you up.
"Uhh, just y'know...stuff..." you said, suppressing more laughter. He raised an eyebrow at you before turning to Cody.
"Well, shall we?" He said. You winked at Cody as he walked passed, earning an eye roll and a small smile from him. You had always jokingly tried to flirt with him before, but he never took you seriously. He was a good friend, and you always knew you could confide in him when needed. You wondered what he would think if you told him about Echo. You knew Obi Wan would be against it, but Cody might not be completely objected to it. A few seconds later, he and Obi Wan walked out covered in food. You stifled a laugh as they saw you still there and began to walk towards you.
"How was your-" you started to say before you realized they each held food in their hands. You shrieked as you ran away, using the force to block the pasta Cody had launched at you. You managed to slip into an elevator and pressed the close button before Obi Wan had a chance to act.
