I let out a small smile at the reviews and rankings. Once satisfied, I turned off my laptop and placed it on my desk before I lay down on my bed.

Unfortunately, my phone suddenly rang. Another editor of a publishing house. Napailing na lang ako.

"Yes?"

(Congratulations for reaching one hundred million reads on your first novel.)

"Thank you."

(We are receiving a lot of requests.)

I know where this is going. "Is that so?"

(Infinite Ink, have you thought about it?)

I sighed. "Yes, I have."

(Are you accepting our offer?)

"I'm sorry but I'll have to reject it once again."

(I understand. But if you ever changed your mind, feel free to contact us.)

I sadly smiled. As if that'll happen. "I will. Thank you."

Another offer was rejected. Aren't they getting tired of it? I sighed.

This unexpected fame is getting on me. There's no denying that I love everything about it. The positive reviews, the publishers contacting me to put my stories under a contract and turn it into a book, it's undeniably amazing.

I sighed again and decided to close my eyes for a minute. I wanted to sleep, I wanted to rest, but my mind wouldn't let me.

Contrary to my supporters' opinions, I want to have a peaceful life, a normal life. Ayoko ng laging ganito. They don't even know who I am and yet, I receive continuous support from them.

I opened my eyes and sat up. It wouldn't let me sleep. I sighed and messed up my hair. I'm frustrated as hell but nobody knows about it. Nobody.

I took my phone and opened my document app to start writing. I hide my identity under a pen name "Infinite Ink," corny as it may seem but I never really think it through. Ginusto ko lang naman ng outlet ng stress kaya ako nagsulat eh. I never expected these readers, voters, supporters.

Gulong-gulo na ako sa buhay ko. Naghahalo na lahat-lahat maliban sa plot ng stories ko.

Though to be honest, my life was meaningless not until I saw this pen and paper, this device, this app.

Writing puts definition in my life. Hopefully, once I'm done sharing my stories, this will finally end.

I want this to end.

This endless pain.
