As Lucifer opened the front door I saw Damon comfortably sitting on a single sofa in my living room with a cigarette ij between his fingers. Meroon ring dalawang lalakeng nakatayo sa may likod niya.
"No smoking inside my house, Damon." I uttered in authorization.
"Your house huh?" He asked sarcastically. "May kailangan tayong pag-usapan, Satana."
"Of course, that's the reason why you're here." I chuckled in sarcasm as I sat on a single sofa right in front of him while Lucy sat on the long sofa. Making himself in between. "Gaano ba kaimportante ang dapat nating pag-usapan para pagtuonan mo ng oras? You even went here using your own body and with stupid bodyguards. Hindi naman ako mananakit, Damon." I hate to admit that Damon is a dangerously handsome.
He laughed. "You've gone mad, Satana, I like that. You know what amazed me the most? It's the way that your eyes speaks louder than your voice. You seems harmful for me, darling." I remained silent. His calm yet dangerous smile seems to be unsafe. "I can see that you went to a party and did something inappropriate. I love your dress too, it suits you very well."
"Words can be deceiving but it doesn't work to me." I throw my pouch on the center table and rested my back on the soft backrest of this sofa. "Deretsohin mo na ako."
"Okay. Sa lahat ng mga binuhay namin ikaw abg pinakamatagal. Ilang buwan kana ba sa mundong ito, Satana?"
"I don't know, I lost my count." I answered casually.
"Do you even know why you're humanity switched off?" He asked.
"Do I even have to know?" I asked back. "Bakit kaba kasi nandito, Damon?"
"I'm here to bring your humanity back." Seryuso niyang sambit na ikinatigla ko.
"No." I furiously uttered.
"What?"
"I don't want to bring my humanity back." Matapang kong bigkas. "Can't you see? I'm better off without it. Everything is going well, Damon, and I just can't let my emotions ruined everything or any of my plans."
"Hindi ito dapat na mangyare." Pagalit niyang usal. Tinupok niya ang baga ng sigarilyo sa mesa mismo at binigay sa kasama niyang guwardiya. Ipinatong niya ang siko niya sa tuhod at deretso akong tinignan. "That humanity of yours is what you needed to success, do you even understand that? Being heartless will help you nothing but disaster."
"This is the only way I know I could finish this, Damon! Why can't you see that?" Kunot noo at pagalit kong usal.
"Because it's all just bullshit." Umayos siya ng upo. "Para kayong mga bata na nagpapalitan ng suntok. Hindi mo ba nakikita ang ginagawa niyo? Every fucking thing is just in alternate, Satana. After hers you do yours and vice versa. That's just stupid!" His loud growled echoed. "That is not how you do revenge."
"I'm doing it in my own way since I never wanted to do this at thw first place." Marahas akong napaiwas ng tingin habang malalalim ang hininga.
"If you didn't finish this nonsense this coming week, you're going back to underground. Do you understand me, Athena?" Maluha-luha akong napalunok at iwas parin ang tingin sa kaniya. Naluluha ako sa sobrang galit at wala man lang akong magawa. "I said--" With a blinked of an eye he is already in front of me, he held my jaw so tight and made me look at him.
"D-Damon." Gulat na usal ni Lucy pero tinignan lang siya nito ng matalim at pagkatapos ay muli ako nitong tinignan.
"-do you understand me?" Mariin niyang tanong na agad kong ikinatango.
