Authors Pov :
It was late in the night,Jin was outside the medi cube, talking to his wife and informing that he was fine, after he was done, he sat on a bench admiring the view, till he felt someone's hands on his back...... He was frightened
He shouted and looked back.. But he saw a kid
Uhh.... I thought it was a ghost or something.... But what is this kid doing over here..
"Hey, what are you doing here? " Jin asked
But the kid didn't said anything, instead he was licking his hand which was dirty
"Hey... Don't lick your hand, it's dirty... It's not hygienic" Jin yelled
Suddenly, the boy lost his consciousness and fell on the ground
"Hey.... What happened to you " Jin yelled and picked him up
He took him to the medi cube and examined him
The small kid was very thin and malnourished, he was examining him, till then Jimin and Jungkook came in the medi cube
"What's wrong hyung? " Jimin asked
"I am checking Jimin, this boy suddenly lost his consciousness and fell on the ground... He looks very thin and malnourished" Jin replied
Jimin came and examined him, he checked the kid thoroughly
"Looks like this is the case of pneumonia, what was he doing before he was unconscious? " He asked
"Uh..... He was licking his dirty hands" Jin replied
Jungkook was standing there, he checked the kid's hand.... He wasn't sure what happened to the kid, but the symptoms and his dirty hands showed that the kid had lead poisoning....
How come Jimin didn't knew this....
" Check thoroughly, I think this is lead poisoning.. "Jungkook said
Jin gasped " Oh my god Captain Jeon, you are a genius, yes the symptoms are of lead poisoning , I'll bring necessary things which are required for his treatment, Jimin you stay here till I am back"Jin said while leaving
Jimin sighed, Jungkook was right about the lead poisoning, why didn't he thought of that....
"Thanks Jungkook, you really saved the kid's life " Jimin thanked him
"Huh... I did... But isn't it your job Jimin? " Jungkook scoffed
"What do you mean? " Jimin asked
"You are a Doctor Jimin, you didn't knew this.... I can't believe this..." He scoffed
"Look Jungkook, I know it's my duty, but Lead poisoning is something which is not very common, especially in Korea" Jimin tried to explain
"You are right,... But here, it's common among the people like cough and cold... maybe your hospital should have sent a doctor who knew about this... Not someone who is just famous and comes on TV" Jungkook lashed out
Jimin couldn't believe what he was hearing, he knew he was wrong, but he is a good doctor, a top surgeon of his hospital, he had never made any mistake in his profession and saved lots of lives of people
He wanted to argue but Jungkook left
Jungkook 's Pov :
I dashed out of the medi cube and came inside the barracks and made my way towards my room , and suddenly realised what I did just now.
