Opening my eyes had never felt like a laborious task but at that moment it seemed almost impossible. I didn't know where I was but from the pounding pain arising from my tailbone I could tell that I was lying on a not so soft surface, it was a exceptionally cold and I did not have anything, except my thin clothes, to protect me from the bitter breeze. I could feel the wind flowing through my garments stroking the sensitive skin of my stomach.

Where even am I? I thought racking my brain but a piercing headache prevented me from recollecting my thoughts. The pain was so mind splitting that I had to take a few deep breaths. After a few seconds I tried again and this time I made some progress before the migraine hit again.

About ten minutes of breathing exercise later I was able to pin the story together.

I was in a car accident

where is Ella? Is she okay? Where am I? Am I okay?

Surely I was in a hospital .But what kind of hospital doesn't even give blankets to their patients. I guess I will have to complain after I am able to open my eyes or even move my body for that matter.

I laid there for what felt like half an hour when suddenly I heard rustling and some footsteps. Whoever it was they were coming closer. I kept on listening to their footsteps when suddenly they stopped, I could tell that the person was just a few inches away from me because Whoever it was he or she seemed to be breathing deeply like they just ran a marathon

"Hello" said a high-pitched female voice, she sounded unsure and panicked

"Excuse me"

When I didn't respond she came closer to the place where I was lying and put her hands on either of my shoulders

"Hey, Wake up we are going to be late" she said shaking my shoulder somewhat harshly

Her jerking my shoulder brought my body out of the paralyzed state.

After collecting my strength I was finally able to open my eyes. Slowly adjusting to the lighting, the first thing i saw was ....... A Tent

I immediately sat up but had to lay back down again when the world started spinning. I closed my eyes and swallowed. My tongue felt like i had just eaten mouthful of sand.

"No don't fall asleep again!" the woman pleaded hurriedly

I opened my eyes and looked at her. Saying she was pretty would be an understatement, she was stunning with gorgeous blond hair that reminded me of liquid gold gracing her head like a halo. Her eyes were the greenest ones I had ever seen. With her heart shaped face and high cheekbones she was like a super model that you would only see on the cover of vogue

Surely she isn't a doctor. No one that beautiful would take a service job when they could be swimming in money with that face

I thought and looked down at the way she was dressed. She had on a army green colored long coat-like thing. It looked worn out and the material was thin like it had been washed cruelly a number of times.

I will never be able to understand new trends. I thought as I continued to look at her clothes

"Come on, chop chop" she said clapping her hand twice right in front of my face

Rather rude staff the hospital has. I will have to complain about that too

I sat up slowly, afraid that the world would start spinning yet again and looked around

I was in a tent alright. It was not very large, there was a simple wooden table and chair in one corner of the tent. The table had a sling bag, some papers, compass, ruler and other stuff related to geometry.
