For the first night in many months Y/N slept peacefully, there were no nightmares, or waking up drenched in sweat having a panic attacks, instead she fell into a deep calm sleep. The comfort of Wanda's body against hers was reassuring and it had been a long time since Y/N had felt that connected to someone.

Wanda's eyes fluttered open, the sun was beginning to rise, she had always been an early riser often finding herself awake before anyone else at the compound. Y/N was still fast asleep and Wanda smiled looking at the other girl, she looked so peaceful. The events of last night had been far more than Wanda had expected, she hadn't been sure if Y/N was really interested in anything happening between them. Yes they had been spending a lot of time together and had agreed to go slow, but Wanda had always convinced herself that nobody would truly want her.

So when they had kissed for the first time last night Wanda had been caught off guard as the explosion of feelings they had for one another finally went off and it was clear that Y/N felt the same way she did. After everything they had been through over the last month, it finally felt like something good was happening and Wanda was so grateful for it.

Y/N shifted in her sleep, her arm instinctively pulling Wanda closer to her.

Wanda laughed softly as she felt herself pulled into Y/N's side. Leaning up she placed a soft kiss on Y/N's cheek, "Are you going to sleep the whole day away?"

"I'm awake..." Y/N mumbled.

"Hmm if you were awake then you'd be paying me far more attention" Wanda smiled as she peppered Y/N's face with a series of light kisses.

"Okay okay, I'm awake now, see look my eyes are open. Happy?" Y/N laughed as her violet eyes shone in the light of the rising sun as it came through the bedroom windows.

Wanda nodded before shifting to straddle Y/N, her emerald eyes looking down into Y/N's violet ones. Y/N was so strikingly beautiful and the change in her eye colour had only emphasised it even more and Wanda was always so captivated by her.

"Is there something on my face?" Y/N asked raising an eyebrow.

"No, I just quite like looking at your face. It's pretty alright" Wanda teased.

"Oh well you seemed to think it was more than pretty alright last night or was that just the wine talking?" Y/N teased back, lifting her hands to rest on Wanda's legs.

"No that was not the wine, don't be silly. I meant everything I said and everything I did last night..." Wanda smirked, leaning in to kiss Y/N.

Y/N smiled against Wanda's lips and kissed her back slowly, glad to hear that what had happened last night hadn't been something that Wanda now regretted happening.

"As much as I would like to carry on with this, I'm starving and need coffee. I hope this place has come stocked with some" Wanda said as she broke away from kissing Y/N.

"It doesn't seem like the kind of place that would skimp out on stocking the fridge and cupboards. Why don't you go and have a look? I'll have my coffee black" Y/N sunk back down into the pillows smiling up at Wanda.

Wanda rolled her eyes, "I didn't realise that I looked like room service, but yes your highness I will get you some coffee too."

Getting off the bed, Wanda wrapped one of the sheets around herself and headed out to investigate the rest of the penthouse suite, though most importantly the kitchen. As she walked out the bedroom, Wanda felt a range chill against her skin, she wasn't sure what it was and put it own to the fact she was just wearing a bed sheet.

As Y/N had predicted Wanda found that the refrigerator and the cupboards in the kitchen were well stocked with anything you could possibly need. First thing first though was coffee, Wanda might get up early but she still couldn't fully function before having her first cup of coffee. Grabbing the coffee, Wanda filled up the coffee machine, humming to herself as she switched it on and went through the cupboards to find two mugs.

Finding them, Wanda reached up and picked two out and as she did the same chill washed over her. Starting to feel uneasy, Wanda went to call out for Y/N but as she turned around two figures appeared from where they had been hidden and grabbed hold of Wanda, placing a cloth over her mouth before she could react.

Wanda tried to fight breathing in, but the two men pinned her against the kitchen counter and as she tried to summon her powers, Wanda's sight began to blur as the distinctive smell of chloroform invaded her senses. Panic shot through Wanda, not for herself but for Y/N, was she okay? Had they gotten to her as well? As those thoughts went through Wanda's mind, everything faded and she fell unconscious.

Y/N rolled over on the bed, looking at the clock and frowning a little bit. Wanda had gone off to the kitchen ten minutes ago and still hadn't come back. It was a big suite but Y/N was pretty sure the kitchen wasn't that hard to locate.

"Wanda?" Y/N called out but she was met by total silence.

Scrambling out of the bed, Y/N grabbed her trousers and shirt, tugging them on as she headed out of the bedroom to see what Wanda was doing. Y/N could feel the sense of dread building as she looked around, the rest of the suite was open planned and Y/N found that it was completely empty. There was no sign of Wanda anywhere, all Y/N could see were the two coffee mugs on the kitchen counter top.

"Wanda, come on this isn't funny. Where are you..." Y/N's voice shook slightly as the realisation began to hit her like a freight train.

Wanda was gone.

Running back into the bedroom, Y/N grabbed her phone out of the jacket she'd been wearing and dialled the first number in her phonebook.

"Nat... Nat someones taken Wanda." Y/N said as soon as Nat answered, "Oh god... I was literally in the other room, I.. I didn't even notice... Nat please.. Please tell me her tracker is on..." Y/N stammered, praying that the devices that Tony had insisted they all had would tell them where Wanda was.

"Y/N calm down, Bucky and Sam are on their way to you." Nat responded, "Do not go anywhere okay?" Nat tried to keep her voice as calm as possible for Y/N.

"Just tell me you can find her Nat... Please... I can't lose someone else..." Y/N fought back the tears that were threatening to fall.

"Bruce is trying... Y/N but something is interfering with Wanda's tracker..." Nat answered.

Y/N dropped the phone her body going into shock... Wanda was gone... Someone had her... and they couldn't find her.

The dream was shattered and Y/N felt herself breaking into a million pieces all over again.

How could this be happening?
