Lexa's fists crashed against the punching bag, each hit landing harder than the last. The bolt holding the bag to the ceiling groaned in protest to the force and as Lexa landed another full force punch the bag crashed across the room, torn from the ceiling.

"That is the fourth time this week you've broken that. Have you thought about taking up yoga instead?" Nat entered the training room, she looked tired, sleep hadn't been something she'd found easy since Y/N left.

"Let me steal away two years of your life, turn you into a traitor and lose the person you love the most and then let's see you not be angry" Lexa shot back as she picked up the punching bag and lent it against the wall.

Nat sighed, her feelings toward Lexa were more complicated than ever but she did feel sorry for her. It couldn't be easy to be told the whole life you thought you were waking up to had been torn away.

It had taken days for Lexa to accept that it was true, they'd had to show her recordings from Tony's suit of the hanger incident and then the attack at the abandoned house. As well as the classified shield files that documented her disappearance and what she had done at the shield facility.

"Have you found her yet?" Lexa asked as she unwrapped the tape from her hands.

"No and we're running out of potential leads. It's like she's completely vanished" Nat replied sitting down on one of the benches, she hated having to admit they were failing.

Lexa knew they weren't going to find Y/N if she didn't want them to. Whilst Y/N was primarily a scientist she had also spent a large part of her life around two of the best trained agents. So it was no surprise she had picked up ways to disappear and stay off the grid. There was also the added layer of these new powers that Y/N had which nobody seemed to understand the full extent of.

"She just needs time. Can we really blame her for wanting to get away from all of this?" Lexa sat on the bench opposite Nat, there was certainly no love loss between them but the one thing they did have in common as how much they cared about Y/N.

"No but she is my family and I can't just let her be out there with nobody. We are all she has and I won't abandon her now" Nat said firmly, she had made mistakes but that wasn't going to stop her from making this right.

"By we, I assume you mean yourself and that red head" Lexa huffed, it still hurt knowing that someone else now had Y/N's heart. Not only had she lost two years of her life she had also lost the woman she'd wanted everything with.

"All of us, we all owe it to Y/N to be there. No matter what's happened I know you still care about her, so if you want to help, then help. Don't use Wanda as an excuse not too" Nat said before getting up, leaving Lexa to think about what she'd said.

Y/N sat slumped against the wall, she'd made it away from the apartment block, though every step had felt like she was running a marathon as the poison spread through her veins. Her companion had followed, watching her closely, meowing every time Y/N stumbled. Now though Y/N had to stop, her body trembling as it tried to fight against the poison, but it was spreading fast. Whatever it was, it was stopping her from being able to heal the bullet wound in her shoulder which was still slowly oozing blood.

How Hyrda had managed to find her was still something Y/N couldn't figure out, she had been so careful, always making sure when she had been out in the town that nobody had followed her back. Wincing again, Y/N touched the wound in her shoulder, finding the hole the bullet had made, then she reached round to the back of her shoulder and found there was no exit wound there. The bullet was still inside, leaking the poison into her blood stream.
