He speaks.
"Maybe not."

Leaving me relentlessly speechless.

"You know, maybe you aren't so bad." I look over to him.

"Maybe we will meet again." I speak again.

"I'll make sure it happens. After all, I need to win against you."

"You sure?"

"Come on, let's joyride. My car."

"Why should I join? With your recklessness we'll crash."

"Trust me." He gets up and holds out his hand.

Should I trust him?
After debating inside my head, I take his hand, as we meet standing up I realize our slight height difference.

My face is to his collarbone, and I hear his breath as the warmth of his body encompasses my own.

"Let's go!" He cheers, keys in one hand.

"You're such a child, favorite of the track."

"I'm becoming your favorite." He winks.

"Did you just flirt with me?"

"Did you just become dense?" He questions cheekily, hands on the wheel as he backs up, arm on the back of my seat nonchalantly.

"Ok, now let's just..." I tune up the radio, to really any song that happened to be playing.

Dream Girl, by Crisuant
"You're my dream girl..."
I begun to hum and somewhat sing lightly to the song playing.

"..."He hums along with me.

I hum once again, laying back and closing my eyes, giggling slightly.

Opening the window, I stick my head out and let loose.

Wow.
She's breathtaking.

"Can you drive any slower McQueen?" I tease him.

"Oh- uh yeah."

He's not talking back? Something must be wrong, eh.

"WOOO!" It feels nice to let go. To release the tension.

I wish you were always this happy.
What happened to you?
I want to help.

"Let's head up to the wheel well!" I point up.

He drives up, and soon opens the door for me.

"Back in the day, I remember having so many good memories up there. From picnics to some races or just hanging out with some friends that visited here with me." I sit down on the ledge and swing my legs.

"Are you just going to watch? Sit down with me."

He follows suit, fixing his hair.
"It's a nice view."

"It means a lot to me. I love it here, and in LA."

"Yeah... I can see the appeal."

"For me or for the town?" I playfully nudge him, laughing.

He turns to face away, chuckling under his breath.
"Wait seriously?"
"..."
"No comment, eh?"

"Well, sorry for making you drive me around."

"No big deal, I'm the one that invited you. Let's eat up here." He holds up my picnic I made.
No...
our picnic.

He helps me set it up as I carefully place down some food, our hands brushing every once or so.
He begins to speak:
"Ok, so then I went up to him, right up in his face. Stuck my tongue out, and holy shit; my dad was pissed with me getting a tongue piercing." McQueen tells a story as we eat our meal.

"You still have it?"

"It was a dare and I was peer pressured by my friends, but I actually did like it. Could fiddle with it when bored, I guess. So I got another piercing."

"Where?"

"Uhh...."

"O-oh-" my face heats up.

"I'm joking! Oh my god your face-"

"...I-....uhhh..." I sock him in the arm.

"But... uhhh how about you? I bet you did some stupid stuff as a kid."

"One night, I went sneaking out with a girl, and my god let me tell you my parents were pissed. They caught me at the amenities pool kissing her."

"Oh wow so you're..."

"Would you judge me? Honestly." I keep a straight face.

"Ah no, I'm maybe apart of it- myself."

He speaks anxiously and speedily.

"Ah, that's nice to hear, favorite." I joke around with him once again.
"It's from that nickname earlier, right? Favorite of the track?" He speaks with a confidence that doesn't feel tacky anymore.

"Do you like the nickname? Honestly, seems boring calling you by your legal name."

"Anything is fine with me, dream girl."

"You realize that has a different context?-"

"O-oh uhhh... yeah. I know."

"You can be tolerable when you're flustered." I poke his chest.

He's fit, has a tongue piercing, I can see why girls in LA are downright crazy for this guy. He's... nice to be around.

You're cute when you're flustered...
Dream girl.
