"yo Liz wassup?"

Yeji's friends came from behind and sat at the table with us while studying too. They started to chat in Korean as though I knew some of what they were saying, there were things I could understand, I didn't want to bother Yeji to translate so instead I focused on my studies.

When I was finished I got up from the table and went to my classes to hand in my finished assignments. While walking back to my locker, Yeji came from slammed my locker shut, she then crossed her arms.

"Why didn't you wait for me?" She pouted.
"I wanted you to have time for your friends besides me, there's a time for me
and you and there's a time for your friends...I don't want them thinking I'm taking you away. And I also don't need a punch in the face because of that reason too" I laughed and grabbed my bag from the locker and locked it up.

"They will understand if we tell them about us." Yeji said with sparkling eyes.
"Not yet, Yeji. Im not ready right now" I said rubbing my forehead. I suddenly felt tired but I ignored it.

"You should make it up to me then." Yeji said not holding back.
"And how should I do that?" I started to laugh a little.

"You, Me, Tonight." She said it relentlessly and sexily.
"Sorry I can't. My mother will be home"
I said knowing she wouldn't be happy.

Though I wish I could tell my mom. She doesn't know much about my life, especially that I am gay. I haven't found a way to come out to her just yet and right now isn't the time for her to catch me and Yeji in bed.

"No she isn't...she left you a note saying she is in Busan at the main hospital and that she will be there a few days. She will call u when she has a free moment." Yeji flipped her platinum hair behind her shoulders like a satin shawl.

She looked deep into my colorless grey eyes and pulled my collar as if she was going to kiss me but I quickly spoke.

"Oh- I didn't even see the note...thank you" I was shocked that my mom hasn't had time to call me just yet.
"Damn you- I'm going to get my bag stay here" Yeji said walking off.

I put my bag around my shoulders and got on my phone. Suddenly there was someone behind me, I didn't mind to look because I was in a school. I turned facing the locker and the person came from behind and slapped my butt.

In shock I turned and the girl pushed me against the locker, smiled and put her hand on my neck about to choke me.

The girl was 2 inches shorter, with long ash blonde hair that was middle parted and hung down her back, her dark brown eyes that light up in the mist of the moment. She had gorgeous tanned skin from the hot California sun.
Black braces that made her teeth glow pearlescent white and shone upon the bad lighting.

"Yo Liz wassup?" She said laughing
I hugged the girl tightly.
"Bro- it's been so long god I missed you, Kai." I said not letting go of her. I heard Yeji's heavy footsteps that escalated quickly as the sound drew closer. I let go of my cousin and grabbed Yeji's arm. She jerked away and yelled at me.

"Kenji your a total ass!" She said and walked furiously out the front doors.
"Kai im so sorry but I have to go after her. I will text you I promise!" I said rushing to the doors
"Hurry Lizzy!!" My cousin hollered as she waved to me.

I ran out the doors and passed the gates. Yeji was crossing the street to the bus stop that we take home after school. I quickly caught her in the middle of the cross walk and grabbed her again.
"Yeji, wait-" I said but she jerked her hand and cut me off.

"Kenji...Do.Not.Touch me..right now." She was furious as hell and I became scared and anxious just like this morning.
She walked to the stop and sat down holding in tears.
