When Nepeta knew she was going to die in the fight against Gamzee, she started to crawl towards Equius. Gamzee kept on beating on her, but Nepeta kept on crawling. She used the last of strength to reach Equius and get to put herself in his arms. Nepeta just closed her eyes in Equius' arms, when Gamzee picked her up and threw her across the room- denying Nepeta's death wish. She died when she hit the floor.
