Bro took down all the mirrors or pretty much anything that could reflect a clear reflection in the house. He scolded Dave whenever he tried to take off his sunglasses and so on. As the result, Dave never saw the true color of his eyes. When he got his first phone, he made sure that bro wasn't around and took a picture of himself without his glasses. When he saw his eyes he cried for over than 20 minutes. Bro actually was watching, but he knew Dave had to grow up someday.
