Jane has been ridiculed for her weight every day since kindergarden. Her dad pulled her out of middle school for homeschooling when she started crying daily over the words of her classmates. The reason she acted so vehemetly when Caliborn called her "fat" is because it reminded her of the days when bulimia seemed her only way of being beautiful in the eyes of the world.
