The actual reason Vriska wanted to destroy Lord English was to avenge Dreambubble!John's death. She didn't tell the others because she didn't want to seem sappy or weak.
So, when Alpha!John said that he didn't trust her or like her anymore, she felt even more dead inside than she did before. And now, she still asks herself if those times they had together were even worth it.
